I'm so sorry that this happened and it's an awful thing, this site was not intended as a gateway for anything sinister but rather for people to connect with each other imo
Like I said in a different thread. With sites closing down and coming under fire like Craigslist and Backpage, who are known for prostitution, scammers, and people being lured places to be robbed, beaten, etc, this site will likely see a fair share of those same people coming to this site so use common sense safety awareness and trust your gut.
OP has deactivated. Too bad. Additional information might have been helpful to many. In any case this reinforces what we all know: It's the Internet, and everyone needs to be careful.
I think the OP is just trolling. He deactivated his account after he posting that.
I remember seeing his profile before and he had positive karma from pros if I remember right.
I chatted with him. He was not a troll. Not sure what happened as to why he chose to deactivate.
I agree with @pmvines about the flow over from Craigs List and others. I belong to another non-dating site where people set profiles and attempt to match with others for a chance to meet and share mutual (non sexual usually) interest. The site is growing at the rate of about 800 a week, and many of the new contacts I’ve had online sound shady, or st least they are there for a different reason than most established users. Be VERY careful. You should be suspicious of anyone who seems overly anxious to meet in person or share details like address, phone, employer, or anything that a potential cuddle match doesn’t need to know so early in your getting to know each other. Ask some questions. More than you answer.
I am closing this discussion only because there is a lot more to the story than what is being presented here that isn't and shouldn't be publicly posted about on the forums, but is being addressed in private.
