May Gray and June Gloom cloudy weather

edited May 2018 in General

In Southern California, May and June are often overcast, cloudy, and cool. It seems like good weather for cuddling. Does weather like this inspire you to cuddle?

It's nothing like that here in Phoenix, Arizona. It will be pretty much hot and sunny every day from now until October. That's why when I go on vacation, I usually go to California.

  • @UKGuy - yes, Phoenix is brutal in summers. The desert east of San Diego is similar. So, do you want to cuddle less during Arizona's summers?

  • @TomLaJolla - I'd just be happy to find a cuddle buddy, I've had zero luck so far. The weather outside would not be a factor, since I wouldn't cuddle outside. Inside, I'd just adjust my thermostat. If I have guests, I usually ask them what they have their thermostat set to at home so they will be comfortable when they arrive.

surprisingly, this weather pops up a bit this time of year in Georgia and in Mississippi. And yes, it absolutely does.

  • @km93 It pops up in which ways?

  • A couple cuddlers have commented that cuddling has helped alleviate the "gloom" that comes with the gray. But for me I actually like the gray. It reminds me a bit of home :)

  • @cuddlesfordays1 Clouds here do remind me of the Midwest, except we don't get heavy rain here in May or June.

I love cuddling when it’s gloomy out or raining. I had a session this past Monday and it’s was cloudy and in the 60s. It was fantastic.

Lil Wayne has a song where he says, “you keep the sunshine, save me the rain”

  • It’s been lovely to be honest! While it’s warm inside, it doesn’t matter how gloomy or gray it gets.
