I love getting as close as close gets without the drama and questions romantic intimacy can bring. Yes, our faces are touching and our bodies are interwoven like a pretzel, and we both trust each other and can just be. It’s so special.
One thing I love is when your breathing patterns match with your partner. I like to take big deep slow breaths; one for every two of the person I’m with normally and when they align I find it intensely peaceful if that’s not an oxymoron.
One of my favorites is when our bodies are intertwined, face to face, then she leans back/away, and I begin to trace her facial features. Not a massage and not a tickle, somewhere in between. Slowing tracing her eyebrows, then the ridge of her nose, along her jawline, her lips, her ears, massaging each and every point and slope and crevice. This takes a full 10 minutes to perform properly... and those moans/sighs where she is saying "thank you" and "please" and "more" all at the same time and without words. Priceless.
And then when she reciprocates that sort of touch without being asked. Double priceless.
@MRyanNYC Yes. Sometimes the anticipation of cuddles can be a huge part of it. Knowing throughout a rough week there is something that you both understand, fulfill and look forward to. Part of the experience for me is giving as much as receiving. Knowing I'm making life better for another person and to know they are looking forward to it as much as I am. I haven't hired a pro yet but I'm not apposed to it. I don't know if I would have the same feeling. Maybe? It would depend on the connection vs a sense of obligation.
Intimacy and closeness on a non sexual level. This is also why I love hugs.
Connection, Mindfulness, understanding, and oneness.
A guinine friendship that Get excited in the anticipation of the next time, and eagerly counts down until then. That's when I know... our energy has matched!
@Runawaycuddles I really appreciate what you wrote. Hugs you 🤗
