Hi, I'm 27 year old autistic guy, that would like to not be so jumpy when people touch me. I'm looking for a woman/feminine person to cuddle with, that can drive, as I cannot sadly.
@Ansierg Welcome to the site! I deeply appreciate your openness, and I wish I lived near you, as I would have loved to work with you on this, at as slow of a pace as you needed.
I really hope that you find good, caring people here to slowly explore with. It may also be safer to do this with a counselor who has experience in this area.
In any case, take good care of yourself, and if I visit New York again, perhaps we can link up! 😊

@SunsetSnuggles thank you so much for the kind words! The idea of a counselor to help has crossed my mind. What branch of therapy would that fall under?
@Ansierg My pleasure!
I'm no expert, but I did some research and it looks like these styles of therapy are utilized for touch aversion: CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and exposure therapy.
I found various phrases attached to touch aversion, that you can find tons of great articles on: Sensory Processing differences, Tactile Defensiveness, touch sensitivity, and Haphephobia.
These were the two articles I thought were most informative:

Hope that's helpful! 😊
