My favourite canyon is the Bryce. I believe that Utah is somewhat underrated yet has very much to offer to those who like nature views like me (Arches NP and many other places). So, for me, SLC airport (Salt Lake City).
Somewhere cold where I can shoot a gun for the first time , I'd love to visit thr south for some of that southern hospitality, but sadly me and heat/humidity don't go well together. Bad enough in the summer up here
I think Utah is underrated too. @TeddyCuddle45 I can verify Southern hospitality is a real thing. I am used to it and don't think much about it, but people from other states and countries comment on it IRL quite a bit. You definitely would not want to go to the South before November. I can barely breathe because of the humidity and current poor air quality.
@achetocuddle Oh I know it is I'd like to meet those southern belles you always hear about, an have some soul food, and good BBQ. You can find soul food hear but you gotta know someone who cooks it. I hear the horror stories of the heat down there lol. Up here when I'm working say it's 30 degrees outside in my shop it's 40 degrees and like 90% humidity. We have grinding machines and how many cnc machines going, so I hate summer lol. I would like to explore more of canada an dip my foot in at least one ocean.

One was in Texas at the San Antonio River Walk. It was like being in a sauna. I just wanted to sit down and cry.
The other was in Canada at the massive outdoor Montreal Botanical Garden. It was so hot and humid I couldn't enjoy the gardens at all...I didn't want to move, couldn't enjoy taking pictures of the gorgeous flowers, could hardly even focus to have a conversation with my boyfriend.
I think my misery in humid conditions must be similar to the torture some people feel in cold weather. I love cold weather, rain, snow, etc. I find it so refreshing. 🌬🌧 You can always put more layers on, but there are only so many you can take off. 😬
Ooh! Ooh! I'd fly to Colorado and squeeze sillysassy's beautiful, loving neck!! And then, I'd fly down and squeeze @waynewv in Florida! And then, over to the "Bam, to harass @pmvines, who has promised to cuddle me even if my hair is standing up! lol

@SunsetSnuggles my I say the same thing haha I love the cold I'm always dressed for it, plus I bike to work till it gets too slippery. Ne cool if we could take off our skin to cool off, but it would be horrifying as well. All I know is when I open the door an it feels like the devil breathing in my face, back inside I go. No thanks lol. Unless I'm working I don't have a choice lol. But sadly the rain and cold are starting to catch up with 30 years of back breaking work and injuries. Best thing about getting older I guess, that an getting to make sounds everytime I move
I think about the only place I would like to visit is Alaska. I got to see 35 states before I retired from my boat transporting business. I would get a ticket from here in Florida to Alaska with layovers of 24 hours in about every state so I could meet and cuddle so many of the great people here on the site. I can’t name them all, the list would be way too long . But for sure I would be stopping in Ga., TN, KY, Oh., Missouri, Arizona to name a few. I’m near Tampa, FL if anyone gets down my way .

SunsetSnug That's right about humidity. I went to San Antonio once with a couple of friends. I had fun and loved the Mexican food I ate, but when my friend suggested a yearly trip there I thought she had to be kidding. I almost can't enjoy a botanical garden because of the humidity inside. My mom will say "your back is wet" and I say "I'm HOT!" Not sure when she is gonna start believing me, lol.

One if these days I'll make it to both east and west coastline, I might drive so I can see everything, I'd love to pass by the desert we have here in Canada, plus the rocky mountains would be amazing, I think I'd go west first.
