Looking for help please

So I'm still fairly new to this and I'm trying to get this going, but I'm not getting anyone reaching out to me. I'm wondering what I am doing wrong or what I can do to build a better profile or maybe I am just missing something. Any other pro cuddlers have any advice for a new person to doing this? Thanks :)

  • Male pros get very few clients. Almost none if they only cuddle women as they have plenty of free options to choose from.

  • Your profile looks good. As @Mike403 said, male pros have a hard time getting clients (at least on site).

Yes, you will need infinite patience. Most female enthusiasts are buried in messages offering cuddles. Not to say no male pro gets business, but it is definitely not a lucrative endeavor. It's a bit like trying to sell fur coats to a pride of lions.

  • Your profile looks good! I’ve been thinking about how to market,to increase the cuddle anwareness as a whole, and I think like anything a bit of real world networking could be beneficial. I’ve been looking around my world, at the places I frequent that are primarily women. If you became a member of my yoga studio, say, and left a business card on the community board, no hard sell mind you, some of the women might be inclined to investigate especially if you became a member of the community. Also my new bridge (like the card game) club has a huge membership of women, and also a community atmosphere where connections might be made. I wonder if there are organizations like that around your area? I’ve been toying with the meetup app to try and get a group going in my town but it has been slow going. I think about my mom, who has been widowed for 20 years, and how she and her friends could benefit from a nice male cuddler such as yourself. I’ve been noticing too a lot of the independent coffee shops near me have a community bulletin board as well, could be some potential there. If you have any sort of training or certification that would be a good thing to mention in your marketing. Sorry for the rambling but these are just some musings I’ve been having lately. Haven’t really put any actions behind them.

  • A male pro I chatted with recently said he uses word of mouth and passes out business cards to generate awareness for his business.

  • Just study the market and you'll see what's happening. I don't think there is much you can do to make it better, other than evaluate what you are trying to do and why.

Without adding too much to that which has already been said, I think your profile is EXCELLENT!!!

I have no idea what the normal activity level for a MALE pro is here, but I can’t imagine it being very much because of course women have 1,000,001 options in the enthusiast department.

Having said that, I know that when I created my profile, I tried to incorporate what I thought were the best aspects of me, coupled with all of the things that I felt were important to women (mainly safety, not being a total creepazoid and just an all around good juju-ness). I think you checked those boxes nicely! Now I’m not a woman of course, but I think I can be pretty objective about it.

Also, you’ve only been on the website for a minute and a half so I would give it some more time but I just don’t think that male pros in general are going to be able to pay the rent around here but again that’s just my opinion.

You sound like a good egg friend. Good luck brother….

  • I would also add that doing some networking with other female pros in your area may be a way to build up some karma, which I would deem important before selecting a male cuddler. Or attending some cuddle gatherings where there are lots of folks so that you could build up your bonafides.

  • Welcome to the site!! What a fantastic smile you have. 😊

Any other pro cuddlers have any advice for a new person to doing this?

If you're just looking for Pro Advice, I know there is a Pro's only forum.

From a woman who is an ENTHUSIAST, the cuddle world needs more wonderful male pros such as yourself. There will also be a ton of advice from the other Professionals on the "Professional Cuddling Forum" and maybe reach out to some successful male pro's to see what they do? Your profile is great and I would echo the comments about being new might be a little bit problematic for a time.

I know there are a lot of naysayers about male pros, but I for one appreciate being able to have a safe connection and have used professionals (men & women) throughout my cuddle journey. Its DIFFERENT than enthusiast/enthusiast cuddle, but I believe its VERY beneficial.

As for someone like me, hiring a pro.... I actually prefer if they are a bit more business-like. i.e. I sort of treat them like I would my doctor, dentist or most specifically my massage therapist. When I get there, its all about me, she asks what I need, we talk about my life and family if I want to, I ask her questions about her world if I want to, and she helps me find healing within my body. The chemicals flow from this for a few days.
She sometimes checks in with me a day or two after but other than that we don't spend a lot of time chatting. I also don't anticipate making HER feel good when I go get a massage, except of course the goodness that comes from helping to support her small business.

It’s not the same as another enthusiast where the give and take is more balanced. BUT having a Pro around that I trust would be extremely wonderful, even though I can get plenty of cuddles with enthusiasts and at cuddle parties etc.

I love the ideas of networking, and because you are in Colorado, you might have some great opportunities to meet people at Cuddle Parties as well as Meet & Greets in order to start getting your name out there. Its also a great chance to meet people in an environment that is "public" so those who are uncertain can get to know you in a safe space. You are in luck! There's even a Community Cuddle happening tonight!! @justjennn can give you some local insight as well.

https://www.kassandrabrown.org/ Also a bit of training/verification might come in handy no matter the gender that is looking to be a professional. There are a lot of great pros in the area, @VitaminJ gave some great feedback. 😊

Adding to what others have said… there’s a CRAZY LOT of information in the forums about men who like to cuddle… professionals AND enthusiasts. Maybe start reading through some of that and reach out to some other male professionals who have been here a minute like @safensecure4u2 @cuddler5617 @nurturingman because there are successful pros just not very many and not very quickly.

I met up with a beautiful soul @cuddler5617 who started with a similar question as yours... He wanted to give back and wound up doing very well with some travel stuff!!

Good luck..... Sending hugs..... And as always.... May the Cuddle Gods Be EVER in YOUR Favor!!!

  • You have a great profile and really nice photo. I have wanted to hire a male pro but haven’t yet. There are some women who might also but everyone says it’s nearly impossible. It might depend on who your target clients are. I think the suggestions above are great. See if there’s a popular coffee shop or yoga class/gym location to put your cards. Best of luck!

    Nice Beard!!
According to @JohnR1972 , who posted statistics for the site in May2024... There were 1902 female pros, and 79 male pros. 24-1 ratio.
For enthusiasts, it was 11,421 men and 694 women
Disclaimer: this was not international, and i believe he took data from the 20 largest cities. And 50 miles from those cities. And only accounts active within the last 30 days
Supply and demand is not in your favor; nor is the economy. But, like others have said. It's a great idea to go to yoga classes, or Zumba/dance classes. You should go to those just for fun, it will be frustrating if you only do it for business purposes. More pictures might help.. but your profile is as good as it gets

  • Damn but it does make sense.

  • I want to thank all of you for the kind words, the words of encouragement, and the advice! I really appreciate all of you taking the time to help me! It gives me a lot of really good ideas for where to get started. I figured being new to the site was going to be a major hurdle, so it is nice to know that isn't just in my head, even if it is a somewhat difficult hurdle, hah!

Thank you all again, so much!

  • If you can host, I’m sure it would help.

  • @Jake_C Like others said, you have a great profile and your pic is perfect (clear, smiling face pic....which is what women tend to respond to more) ☺️

I'm sorry to hear that you're not getting to many reaching out, but also what other said is true.....male pros aren't as much in demand. Buuuuuut, even I had a slower start and took a bit to get the hang of things. Plus, this month has been extremely quiet....cuz Coloradoans go outside a lot in July! 😏 It's also probably true that it would help a little if you could host. But not sure how much. If I ever get around to taking pics of my comfy snuggle space, I'll send some your way!
    Good luck! ☺️🍀
