@SunsetSnuggles guilty as charged! I don't know why that gets me! Even about stuff I don't really care about.
@WriterGF very good point! In teaching we always talk about how there's always a purpose behind a child's actions. Usually it's seeking attention. Some kids don't really care if the attention is for positive actions they do, or negative. Attention is attention to them. I'm sure the same could be said for adults. We're often told that what we focus on is what we'll get more of. If you focus on the negative behaviors, you get more of those, and vice versa. Another common phrase teachers know is that often the students who need the most love often ask for it in the most unloving ways. Something to ponder perhaps.
