Also, I agree, thrift stores are fun. There is one in Felton called Abbott's that I like, and up in Boulder Creek there are a bunch of antique shops that I like to window shop at, as well as a mystical shop owned by a friend of mine. There are also a bunch of antique stores in Capitola and Aptos. I don't know San Jose that well, but I imagine there is a lot of stuff up there. The best mall in SJ that I know of is the Westfield Mall, which isn't too far from the Winchester House, at least as the crow flies.

@HarleyGirlKate just so happens I love curry, especially curry goat, it's so delicious. Honestly there isn't much food I don't like. I love spicy stuff too

@Morpheus that one has eluded me for a long time, I gotta go try it, ever try hakka food it's a mix of Asian and Indian I believe, but damn is it ever good and those green chilies they give you omfg, I can't stop myself
I've been to Krishna temples all over, cooked many vegetarian Sunday feast meals in Columbus. International vegetarian good is my favorite 😋

Well, @jillyain ...Miss @HarleyGirlKate and I shopped til we dropped, because after the Winchester house, it was on to Winchester Mall! I got a gorgeous robe from Bloomingdale's on double sale, and an adorable LBD for $19. We found some delicious fragrances and skin care at Lush. She even checked out an electric motorcycle! The lady knows bikes 😎

I definitely recommend a drive across the Golden Gate Bridge to see Muir Woods, Ghirardelli Square since you're into shopping, and Pier 39 to catch a glimpse of Alcatraz and a bunch of barking sea lions. 🌁 🌳 🛍 🗝 🦭
For a future trip...
The San Diego zoo was incredible. Animals I've never seen elsewhere, and I've visited sanctuaries and zoos all across the US. 🐼🐨🐻❄️
If you're interested in seeing where the celebrities live, definitely don't bother trying to wander on your own; pay for a little bus tour - they will pack dozens and dozens of residences into an hour or two, and you would never be able to find or spot them on your own. 📸 The history and tidbits they share the whole trip is very fun.

@Auroradream California is definitely not my kind of weather (I like dry, cold, and overcast 😄), but I always love visiting anywhere new, and Cali never ceases to impress me with its exotic array of plant life. 🪷 It's been wonderful to look down at the ocean from a high vantage point and see dolphins. 🐬 It's a vegan heaven, so as a vegetarian, you'll be happy as a clam. 🥑 Keep that sunscreen flowing, and I hope you continue having a great trip!
