I have reached to people, both professional and non-professional, but hardly get a response. Not sure why, unless maybe I scare people or to old. Love to have some feedback. Thanks

  • Not scary at all. You look quite interesting to me.

? good to know and thank you .

  • No response is common I find. What sort of messages do you send?

  • [Deleted User]Langleyc48 (deleted user)

Just pretty straightforward message. Hey, are you interested in cuddling. Just figured we all are here looking for cuddling.

Not scary at all! You actually look like a rather dapper pirate or one of the Three Musketeers!

I will say this though mate--it might be a little off putting by jumping STRAIGHT into cuddling with your first message.

People--especially women--need to feel comfortable before even considering cuddling. I say start off the conversation lie you would a normal conversation. Ask them how their week/day is going and include a question based on what you see in their profile.

This shows people that you are interested in a connection beyond just cuddling--you are actually invested in learning about the individual.

They will be more receptive to, "Hey, I love horror movies too! Which would you say is your favourite?" than "Do you wanna cuddle?" as the first message.

Once someone grows comfortable with talking to you online, they will be more comfortable cuddling with you.

Thanks for the feedback. Will give a try.

I agree with @WhimsicalWriter . There has been a ton of Internet Ink spilled on how to effectively approach a potential cuddle buddy. Here are a few random places to start reading:

    1. http://cuddlegarden.com/index.php/2017/12/07/how-to-approach-a-woman-as-a-potential-cuddle-buddy/
    2. https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/3369/how-to-introduce-yourself-to-non-pros/p1
    3. https://www.cuddlecomfort.com/forum/discussion/2472/how-women-screen-for-cuddle-pals/p1

There are quite a few more such threads in the cuddle Resources section which is stickied near the top of the General forums.

If your approach is good, most pros (at least, the active ones) will respond with alacrity to a politely worded message. With non-pros, you're going to need a lot of patience and a little luck.

I wouldn't ask to cuddle in your first message to someone, unless they are a paid cuddler. If you are not looking for that, then just keep in mind that even though this is a cuddle site doesn't mean you don't still have to build trust and rapport. Yes they may want to cuddle, but that doesn't mean they don't have boundaries and don't need to get to know you first. Even then, they may not want to cuddle with you, and if that is the case just have to accept it and try elsewhere.

    Makes sense. Thanks

  • Also, you might want to take a look at their last login date. Profiles that have been inactive a long time are unlikely to respond in my experience. Good luck! If you were in LA I'd be happy to oblige :)

  • I agree with everyone else’s advice! Good luck!

  • You look pretty cool

@Langleyc48 if you are ever in my area ,I would love to Cuddle with you ?

  • Like others have already said prior, build a rapport with the potential cuddler before asking to meet. Too much too soon is often a red flag for most people, even though you only mean well. But yeah, just approach em like you would if you saw em at a party or after a business meeting. Just use social skills and strike up a conversation and after a few messages back and forth open it up to asking for cuddle session.

Or that's how I would do it anyway. I looked at your profile, hope you don't mind, but no you don't seem scary to me.

My advice is to only message people who have been online recently (I'd say within a month) and avoid anyone whose profile excludes you (age, gender etc.). Apart from that I don't think your approach makes much difference. I've had zero responses from pros or non-pros no matter what the approach. I've had more luck with people messaging me, but they all live far away.

  • @UKGuy “If we finish our cuddling and your hair is messed up, I will offer to comb it for you, and if you allow me, I will patiently comb your hair until every last tangle is gone.”

That’s a little strange, and may have something to do with the dismal response rate.

  • @Psychonaut83 girls love when I comb their hair. I have had girls walk into my place to cuddle and they set their brush down on my coffee table like hint hint

@Psychonaut83 - actually your reaction to it is strange because I've had positive comments from several women about that part. In fact I've done that with a few women and they all loved the pampering. I notice your 'about me' section is completely empty, I guess you think that's better.

  • [Deleted User]Janetcj70 (deleted user)

@Langleyc48 ever in Michigan, look me up! :)

  • @UKGuy It’s not a hinderance. I have met 7 people from the site thus far. Based upon what I read in this forum, that’s above average.

    My profile is fine

  • I would cuddle with you if you weren’t so far away :)

  • Not scary! I'd let you play with my hair ?

  • Come to LA sometime and we'll have a lovely cuddle! :)

  • @Langleyc48 I would advise you to contact the newest profiles possible, as many women have a tendency to log on once, and never return. Definitely check when the person last logged on. Often women will not log on , even if you message them. Where I have had responses, it is typically when I message women that joined that day. Messaging older profiles tends not to get answers. So you need to be logging on daily, or possibly twice a day.

  • @Langleyc48 Don't be discouraged. My experience is that non-pros rarely respond, even if you follow all the advise above. I think most are just here out of curiosity, but not really intending to cuddle. Just be you, and someone, someday may respond. :)

I felt like asking a similar question myself, as I have no luck on this site.
It's harder for men in general, and even harder if you live in England. I've only had one offer, and lots of ignored ice breakers.
    What are they here for?

  • [Deleted User]JustLeeon (deleted user)

I hardly get any responses either, it may be because there is a shortage of cuddlers here in the UK and the men outnumber the women. I don't request to cuddle on the opening message and have never done that. I guess people only want to connect with those they feel they will get on with. It's a shame this website doesn't allow you to post video introductions, because then people will be able to see my personality rather than judge me on my photo and short bio. ??‍♂️

  • [Deleted User]JustLeeon (deleted user)

And to answer your question, you do not look scary at all. Just be patient as you will soon find the right cuddler partner.

  • I am new here, still acclimating. But in response to the OP, your marital status might be seen as a red flag. There are all kinds of reasons for a married person to want to cuddle, and all kinds of marriages, but truthfully as an "enthusiast" I would screen a married guy more closely for a hidden agenda. I suspect many women don't want to spend the effort vetting you.

  • your look is interesting! the beard works in my opinion! not scary at all hun!
