Poor hygiene is understandable if you hate people and want to keep them away.
I shower, brush teeth, mouth wash and mints before…. But honestly I find it hard and a distraction to be cuddle close with someone who has not showered or use deodorant.
Also remember, if you see a pro and she had a session right before you and didn’t shower in between, you’re basically cuddling with another man.
I met with someone who drove from his warehouse job after work to meet me. He smelled horrific.

Many profiles have this good hygiene is a must, freshly showered and fresh breath. Then when the person shows up on a warm day they don’t have a change of clothes and they have been walking around during the day, with a hint of bo and having eaten lunch containing lots of garlic and no gum chewing or bringing a toothbrush. So much for the good hygiene.

Well, I don't know about the situation around the world, but do they exist? Etymologically, they should DE-odor, that means to remove odor, but my experience is that all of them ODOR or, at best, smell good. I still haven't found one that doesn't add a scent. I guess that writing here the name could be considered advertising, but should anyone know one, please write "I know one" and/or write me a private message. Thank you very much!
Eh there are many parts of the world where I have travelled where deodorant is on sale but people just don’t use it especially in places they need it and especially in the summer. Not only do they not use the deodorant it seems showers are infrequent. But hey I knew that before traveling there.
The last 2 men I saw smelled so bad I had to breathe through my mouth. One even got to a hotel before me and said he showered, but there was NO WAY that happened.

@Mike403 Lol! 😄 That's how my son (he's a teenager so it's been a little "challenging" in this area with him😌) tried to "shower", until I stepped in with my own hands on (well actually using a scrub brush more then my hands😏😊) " how to properly shower 101" tutorial demonstration on him. 🧽🧼🤨
After that, his showering practices have greatly improved. 😉👍

OMG @Katota you gotta have "those" interventions with teenage girls too 😩😂 I had a very memorable discussion with several mom friends (at the time my older 2 were those ages) and we were all floored that girls need that too!
I would try to be delicate and tell my girls they needed to shower more often....and they both would seriously be like "no I don't". 😒 Arghhhhhhh! 🤦♀️

I have terrible hygiene. People tell me that my feet stink and my breath stinks.
I always go freshly showered with washed and dried hair. I brush my teeth when I arrive at the session. There is 0 excuse for bad hygiene. If someone has bad B.O. and I can tell they showered and used deodorant, I'll ignore it. Some people just have strong odor no matter what. Likely an underlying hormonal imbalance. If I can tell they haven't showered, I'll just politely ask if they could, with no impact to our cuddle time.

@RedFox16 My mother told once I hit puberty that my bathing habits dropped drastically too, believe it or not. Lol😆 Of course, I don't remember any of that. 😜

However she said I when started high school, my showering and wearing stronger deodorant improved my body odor habits. 😆👍 Possibly due to my working part-time and buying my own body care and grooming products plus other needful things. Making my OWN money, (even if it was at Kmart 😊) and buying my own stuff was quite liberating for me as a sophomore in high school at the time.😁

I'm probably one element of a rather small subset of people on here who can truthfully say that I have done a lot of this in a past life--I wish it was but it generally isn't, though it certainly could be.
Perhaps use cosmetic-grade mud imported from Italy (making sure not to get the exfoliating stuff sourced from volcanic environs of course) to show some consideration for your talent rather than some of the questionable and god awful concoctions they actually used back in the day. 😁

My parents said we all (there's five of us) "stank to high heaven" and they tried their best to be nice about it till we started doing better for ourselves. 😖
My dad said it "coincidentally" seemed like we got better with hygiene around the time we also started being interested in the opposite sex 😆 LoL
As someone with severe depression, I echo the sentiment of depressed people not thinking about that or just not having the energy to shower beforehand.
But yes, by all means shower and everything before a cuddling session. I showered right before my cuddling session even though I had showerered that morning. Who doesn't want to cuddle a nice clean smelling person?
I also lit candles to have a nice scent in the air.
My $.02 to add or comment on is smoking. Ppl can shower, brush their teeth or bathe prior to meeting all day long lol, but if they smoke/vape. That stink attaches to them as well. I've had to turn down cuddles for this very reason in the passed. Headaches are not my favorite side affect to cuddles.
