New Professional here. Wondering how to get my photo to show on my forum posts and replies.

I have been fairly active in the forums, but I see that most people have their profile photo accompanying their post. Whenever I post, I get the default blue avatar gif. I do have a profile photo, I would assume the program would pull that. yet no photo. could someone please let me know if there is a tweak I need to tweak to get my photo to show up? Please and thank you.

    I am not sure what causes this, but it might be due to the format that your photo is in. Can you try reuploading your photo as a jpg or png?

    I have been curious if newer formats like HEIC on iPhone are to blame.

    Thank you, I will try that. I do know that I had to email my photo a few times in different resolutions to get them to upload. I'm using my computer. I may try and upload them on the phone and see if that works.

    You may also try taking a screen cap of of pic and trying to upload that and see if it works. I’ve also wondered why you can’t see some people thumbnail preview.

    If this is a format issue, couldn't a requirement be put on the upload page that prevents any file types besides JPEG's and PNG's from going through?

    I agree, my graphic designer is always asking me to look at other social media pages for the requirements so she can make the photos to that specification. All of them list what is required.
