Are we able to be friends?
People active here sometimes do form friendships , if willing to equally match the effort. But keep in mind being respectful of boundaries, and desire for communication might not match. It’s absolutely not a dating site even though some people try to make it that way. It is for cuddling only - and forming a connection only makes it better. Friendship and cuddling.

I’ve been on this site for three years and the first post I have ever seen from you is a snarky attack on a long time, highly respected member of this community and telling her to keep her opinions to herself on a public forum. I’m sure hundreds of “friends” will be beating down your door wanting to connect with you after those remarks above 🙄

😢😊🤗 Thanks for the support guys. Maybe it just wasn’t meant to be for the OP. But what I’ve had to remind myself here is that people come with one mindset that has never even occurred to me. And going through something and I’m sometimes guilty of not thinking of that (even when commenting on some of your posts/comments). Something may have just happened to OP, she’s sad or hurt & we’ll never know the backstory. These are things I have to keep reminding myself of.
I think the OP just didn't know how to fully and clearly make her request. The question she asked got answered very nicely but I think she was looking for an answer to a question she didn't ask.

@g_w_t_w you are right that this is not a dating site but I think 97 percent of people are using it as like a dating site. Unless you are a pro, most people are not even going to want to cuddle unless you are what a potential mate look like.

Oh yes, they still do that. Although their hearts have been known to melt at the sight of a four year old child in a full guardsman's outfit. And occasionally the tune the band is playing is a subtle joke or comment of some kind, relevant to the moment.
