How much have your spent on cuddles since you started cuddling in this site?
Do you see it as a sound investment on what you needed on your life?
From a very quick and dirty glance back through my diary, I've had about 140 cuddles since August 2018. (First cuddle from this site was November 2020.) That includes both professional and enthusiast. There will be some enthusiast ones missing from that number, and their total will be perhaps a quarter of the overall total. So let's say 120 professional sessions. Vast majority 1 hour. Minimum cost £60; perhaps two sessions above £120 (one of which was a double cuddle, and the other was a visiting professional from the US). Average no more than $80ph. 80x120=9600. So let's call it £10k over six years, or an average of about £1,500pa. It is by far my biggest discretionary expense. (For example in that time I've spent no more than ..... £250 on clothes.)
Best money I ever spent. My only regret is that it couldn't have been more. Two of my best friends in this health stuff I'm going through right now I met as professional cuddlers. One of my other great friends wasn't through cuddling but if it hadn't been for what I gained from cuddling it's very unlikely that friendship would have happened. So I'm incredibly grateful to the cuddling world in general and professionals in particular.
Been thinking of doing this sum for a while, good to get a prompt. While we're here, the forum stats are 12,609 visits, 4.4k comments and 80 threads.
Thousands $$$$$$$$$, but don’t regret it at all.
I would say about the same amount. Def in the 4-5 digits with travel involved. I have to admit good people have been met and it has been a positive experience.
Of course I wonder if it will continue.
I've never travelled a significant distance for a cuddle, no money for that. I have cuddled in hotels a few times, but my cuddlebuddy was always staying there anyway and so they were paying for it. Most of time I host.
I have no idea. I could probably come to an estimate if I really right about it. I’ve enjoyed every session I’ve had. I do consider what I’ve spent as a sound investment. This is why I rarely cuddle with pros anymore, the price hikes have made sessions not very sound investments.
Well, aside from the cost of providing groceries, beverages, scented candles and perhaps a "thank you for cuddling with me" gift...Which is usually a giftcard for those who are willing to drive a great distance to cuddle with me! 😊🫂
Eh, somewhere between $50 to $80...Keep in mind I haven't been cuddling much these days, so it's not a huge expense loss. 😊👍
It much, I'd say $400 bucks. I've not cuddled much. But in my time I'd say it was worth it.
@BashfulLoner Gasps! 😯
$400, eh?!
Maybe I should turn Pro...🤔🤑
Lol!😆
Nah, I am financially content right now in my life.😊 I'm just happy that said cuddler actually shows up, cuz doing extra grocery shopping for a no show isn't very fun. 😌
Lol! Oh sure, my son is very HAPPY due the "extra food" in the house for HIM to eat for the week but still...😁😜
I remember an old commercial or advertisement about someone is not going to pay alot for that muffler. I think it was midas. But now the new one its im not going to pay alot for that cuddler, lol. New ad morpheus.
@Katota your perspective is one I didnt think about when I wrote this. And definitely jogged my memory. If I count the things bought to prepare for a cuddle the amount gets higher 😂 🤦♂️😐
Zero dollars. The investment for me is time and yes it has been worth it.

😁
@ScroogeMcducky Yeah, it can be a bit pricey IF you're hosting and choosing to FEED your cuddle buddies. 😊 Which I do, plus I choose to shop at Publix versus other grocery stores for when I'm expecting company. Publix has good produce, albeit expensive but still good produce!🍅🍉🥦🍊🫑🫐🌽🍑
😁😋
Anything important as this for mind-body and spirit is an excellent ROI!
Having said that, I have noticed that the prices here have gone up, but I guess everything has. Blame it on Covid!
Not enough
One of the reasons I even asked is due to my damn internet. I use the world wide webby to be a part of many different communities.
One thing that I have noticed is the trend of people being about money more than connection. Its a trend on all the site.
At some point people have to understand dead presidents or Www coins are really not as valuable as the people they come across daily or because of the connection of the internet which opens up the chance to connect with folks globally.
Instead it adds to the money making opportunity gap and will lead to the digression of the ROI with any site as well as trust in other humans. Eventually we will all be wearing crocs, using electrolytes to water vegetation, and having cuddles family style! Not to mention starbucks will not be the home of slow roasted goodness anymore 😉
@ScroogeMcducky
So true! If only people today knew, or could remember how, for example, dating sites were in the late '90s/early 2000s.
You signed up for free, created a profile, immediately started making contacts without any obstacles or upselling. Quite often, there just wasn't enough time to meet every contact in real life.
No fake profiles, no bots, no stupid gimmicks, no bait & switches, etc.
It was perfect time. The good news is, we know that kind of thing is possible.
@TxTom Sure, it WAS possible, but the dating sites have evolved into huge money-makers for their owners, they learned that guys are easy prey for bots and will spend more money, just like gambling, believing they're going to hit the jackpot. Dating sites won't give up that revenue now. (Facebook dating is monetarily "free", as long as you don't mind giving up your personal information to them and being tracked through your personal conversations on other platforms for "advertising purposes".)
@starrynitecuds The Yahoo regional chatrooms were awesome back in the day.
I've not been on the site long but I haven't paid for cuddling yet. I think it would be too rich for my blood to do more than an hour, and my first cuddle with an enthusiast and hour went way too fast, so we extended it and even that didn't feel long enough.
@parrothead: I agree, an hour goes by way too quickly!
An unbelievable amount. But I do think it's what I needed, personally
Why is this thread called “boss up”?
@cuds23 no reason. I just call a thread something and write. It started with the muffintop
