What deceased musician/singer do you wish you had seen perform live?

For me it is Gary Moore a blues, blues rock guitarist formerly with Skid Row and Thin Lizzy among others before going solo. Thought of this as I was listening to his signature song "Parisienne
Walkways". I have seen his shows on uTube and wished I had been there. His guitar sound and voice are unique.

    Freddy Mercury. His voice was soul moving. To have been old enough to have seen him live would have been awesome

    Wagner, the great composer, conductor was before my time but would have been awesome to see as would others of his genre.

    I never saw Led Zeppelin but wished they had replaced John Bonham and stayed together.
    Saw the Doors in San Francisco once. Jim Morrison was crazy good as was the keyboardist Ray (forgot his last name)

    I saw Freddie as well back in the day. So many to choose from that we lost out of the ones I have never seen. Forced to pick one I guess i would go with Bob Marley. I saw Tina Turner, Bob Stinson when he was with The Replacements, Keith Moon and Prince. Honorable mentions for who I never saw would go to Ian Curtis, Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, james Brown and Lou Reed.

    But Robert Johnson would definitely be on my list as well.

    Fat Elvis in Las Vegas largely because of his audiences. There were 50's beehive hairdos, hippies, bikers, cowfolk, mod rockers, soulsters and a diverse batch of people. Those were not his greatest performances because he was so exhausted from poor health and drug use. He marched right into glam rock and when he died in '77, most musicians and music biz people like myself wished they'd have gone simply because anybody could have, and those audiences vanished forever. It was the end of an era and the beginning of punk rock which took shape in '76/'77.

    I liked the early Elvis work and wish I had seen him then. Seems like his last few years were sad.

    I did get to see George Michael on his last tour. If I had missed that, I would have been besides myself.

    @HarleyGirlKate i saw Olivia in Vegas in 2015, wow she was magic! I fell in love with her all over again, like I was 10 yrs old again the first time I saw her in Grease. Her voice was still 95% there. I should have paid the extra 200 dollars to meet her and get a photo

    Well since I grew up with a taste in music extending decades and genres, it's a little hard to pin point. Boston would have been awesome, hank Williams Sr, Barry white, pavarotti, nirvana, Alice in chains, blind melon, dio, there is just too many. And that dies include classical composers. Just too much amazing music I wish I could have been there to witness all of it.

    I left Bowie off my list because I saw him three times. Also saw The Grateful Dead and I am going to be ungrateful because they owe me money for wasting my time for three hours. Horrible concert.
