  • @TheFunCartel That rate is GFE borderline PSE I personally think it's amusing and funny but kind of tasteless and doesn't give the right vibe. yes, people can set their own prices, and I commented in the past that bitching about prices is useless and explained why. but be reasonable and make some sense when setting prices / see what others around you charge.

    True

    PlayStation experience?

  • I’m irked by the lack of active cuddles in the St. Louis region!

  • I'm a caregiver and sometimes people are unwilling to take my help even when they really need it and I'm excellent at giving it. It hurts my heart sometimes and I understand, but still. Irksome.

Maybe the $500 cuddler is happy with just one or two regular clients. There are people out there with money to throw around.

  • I’m irked that my local gas station sells a pack of Marlboros at 10.86 a pack, and if you get 2 packs it is $2 off. BUT if you want to get a carton it is still $102. Why? It’s just 10 packs. Damn thing should be closer to $90.

  • $500 cuddler

Being the practical and also somewhat skeptical person that I am I would say that's an oxymoronic Phrase.

  • I am going to the ocean to see a beautiful friend today.

I AM IRKED THAT THE FLIGHT IS STILL FIVE HOURS AWAY!!! 🤨

    It feels like forever!! 😳

  • I am ALSO irked that because of the way the world rotates and the sun does its thing…. Most people are sleeping in the morning at 4:44am.

    DOUBLE IRK!!

  • I'm happy to be in Maine right now and happy too that you are going to have fun today, but I'm irked that I wasn't able to meet you today. 😢

  • @HarleyGirlKate I wouldn’t trade Maine for too many places at this time of the year

  • I’m irked that some things seem to go at a pace that I would rather not.

I’m irked that it rained a little and the mud was slick and I almost crashed bad!

I’m irked I I have to hike so far to ski in August (not really though)

Overall, I’m not really irked. Just thought I could try and contribute.

    Lastly:

I am irked at the car tailgating me when I was doing 50 in a 35mph zone. And those flashing lights on top of your car were ridiculous.

  • HazMat spills are particularly irksome.

Career tip: If you're incapable of the incredibly simple task of checking whether a valve is open or closed, then don't touch nuthin'.... and go get yourself a job as a Walmart greeter instead.

    Sheesh.

  • I’m irked that bookstores aren’t open 24/7!!
What if I get done eating my gallon ice cream at 2am and want to get a new book?! Am I suppose to just not?! The audacity.

    Book section with no books!

  • edited August 2024

Well earlier this week (as well as the whole month of August), I have been having car troubles...Sighs! Lol
It seems when coming home (from work) in the mornings, I would stop to check my mailbox the car would not start back up. 🙄😒😠😡

So yeah, after spending my mornings doing this...

Instead of 😴😴😴😴, my mornings were not great. And during those car troublesome days of August, I was definitely IRKED!

😀😀😀On the positive note, if I had a car like this...
    I would be less IRKED!😆😆😆
Of course, I wouldn't be the one pushing yet it would be one hell of ride. Lol 😆😆😆

@Sooson Come on Sooson pumped those legs, we're almost there buddy!😆👍

  • Hahaha! @gem7 😂😂 Those cars with roof lights are SO annoying! 🚓🚔

And @sr182 I didn't know there were places here where you can ski in August! Esp since it's been so hot this summer. Awesome! 😎

  • @MajesticMango LOL I so relate to that. Libraries have sections with no books either, especially what I refer to as "real books", ha ha.

  • Approaching incandescent headlights...

  • Approaching LED headlights...

@TheFunCartel: @HarleyGirlKate I wouldn’t trade Maine for too many places at this time of the year

It is true, Bangor is very nice this time of year and is a charming town.

  • I'm irked by what I was told by a recent cuddle request. I have zero knowledge of whether it is true. His wife died, and he is supposedly paying $200/week to sit on a park bench and hold hands while talking to a pro. The irksome part is that he was told to only cuddle with pros because her fee includes contractual confidentiality. An enthusiast would be likely to tell other people about the secrets he may share during a session. Ummm...really???? I am still trying to reassure him that our cuddle is private and that I will not accept money or gifts just to make him more comfortable.

There are some AMAZING, funny, caring pros on these forums. The $500 cuddle or this one (if it's true) who instills fear in a hurting person to maintain her cash cow give all cuddling a bad name.

  • I'm also irked by approaching LED headlights...

    Things are goin' great
    And they're only gettin' better
    I'm doin' all right
    Gettin' good grades
BUT YOUR LIGHTS ARE SO BRIGHT
    I gotta wear 😎

@HarleyGirlKate My daughter and I stayed in a cabin near Ellsworth last summer. We went to Bangor to do the Bog Walk, see Stephen King’s old house, and then to Orono to U of M to see some of their conservation biology department’s stuff.

The rest of the time was spent hiking Acadia, whale watching and kayaking. Love Maine!

  • @TxTom Ohh, I can definitely relate to drivers driving behind me TOO CLOSELY with blinding headlights burning into my eyesight... Yeah that definitely IRKS ME!😠😠😠
Especially while working 3rd shift, and don't get me started on folks walking somewhere in the middle of the night while wearing BLACK CLOTHING!🙄

LOL! They're lucky that I haven't hit any of them...Yet!😀👍

  • @Katota

...and don't get me started on folks walking somewhere in the middle of the night while wearing BLACK CLOTHING!

    Preach, woman!
