@MajesticMango it’s been very encouraging to read about the segregation of genders. A lot of men used to believe women wouldn’t understand mathematics or biology and it’s given some backstory of specific schools that pushed past the boundaries of social norms over the last 130 years. I haven’t read enough yet to really give more of an in-depth discussion but it’s very intriguing.
Just finished Kushiel's Chosen by Jacqueline Carey and now enjoying A Court of Mist and Fury.

@simsaddict that kinda reminds me of The Yellow Wallpaper. I met someone who taught it in their women’s history class to show how women were treated in the way back. Postpartum depression wasn’t a thing back then and doctors would diagnose women with hysteria. It’s a crazy short story read and it definitely took me in.
I recently finished Toxic Positivity: Keeping It Real in a World Obsessed with Being Happy by Whitney Goodman and it was pretty good!
