We all tend to value when someone has Karma reviews, but some just will not leave Karma after a session. Thoughts?
If that is a real username, it’s against the rules to be posting it here. Karma is truly optional - and I usually choose to write a review only when I can really vouch for the words I put down. If someone has to beg me for a review, the result will almost certainly be an unremarkable collection of words put together with the purpose of just getting it done.
Demanding karma and calling someone out for not writing some for you is not a good look and definitely not professional. It's an optional thing and in order for it to have any weight or value, it must remain that way. You may have thought the session went well when really the other person could have been uncomfortable the entire time and was too shy or polite to say anything. Honestly, even if a session did go well, if someone nagged me to write them a review and I acquiesced, I'd probably remove at least a star or two. No one should feel pressured to do anything they don't want to do, especially on this site. The repetitive posts are also a bit concerning.
Please forgive my typo, that was not a screen name and I was not demanding anything or calling out anyone… but I can see how it may have appeared that way with the typo in there. I was simply curious as to why someone might not leave a review in this era of Uber & Airbnb where ratings & reviews are commonplace. Especially, when the client reached back out on their own to tell me what an incredible session it was and they are planning dates for their next booking. I would never pressure or nag anyone for anything as I am all about empowering everyone to make their own choices.
On this site writing Karma is very much the exception, not the rule. There are a million reasons for this, not least the relatively intimate nature of cuddling.
Some people prefer not to get involved in Karma because it gives them 'plausible deniability'. "Yes, I do vaguely remember creating an account on that thing to see what it was about, but I never used it."
It is NEVER acceptable to ask anybody to write Karma for you. For a start there are many vulnerable people here, and such a request could put them in a very difficult position.
Exchanging Karma - I'll write something nice for you if you write something nice for me - has proved a really effective way of getting yourself banned from the site.
Don’t worry, if you are a good cuddler, you’ll eventually get lots of great karma.
Honestly my repeat cuddle enthusiasts rarely if ever reviews. I really appreciate when one when leaves me a karma and giving me the chance at all to cuddle with me, but of course repeat cuddles are most appreciated.
Karmas are optional. Some people leave them just to be nice even if the session doesn’t match the karma. Also, people won’t leave karmas cause they don’t want others knowing how much of a gem you are and want to keep you to themselves. At the end of the day, it’s optional.
Lotta folks don't leave karma. It's always appreciated but never expected.
Damn girl you’re serious about this cause you started three threads about karmas😂
There’s a thread called “I'm IRKED... AND BY GOLLY ARE YOU GOING TO HEAR ABOUT IT!!!”
And by gosh we are hearing about it
Let's give @MajesticMango some Karma -or a job in ANY research department.
There are some very impressive and intelligent people on this site and I really appreciate them.
@BrianOcean I accept. When do I start?
@MajesticMango said it best, “ Also, people won’t leave karmas cause they don’t want others knowing how much of a gem you are and want to keep you to themselves.” Prior to my last cuddle, I hadn’t left a karma, but darn tootin I read them if the person has them.
Karma is like a tip, it's not mandatory but it's nice, and had to be earned I feel. But everyone is different. If I had a negative experience, I'd much rather discuss it with the cudfler face to face, instead of blasting their profile, buuut if it's real bad, I'm not biting my tongue.
If I have a good cuddle experience I always leave karma. It helps to give other prospective cuddlers some assurance that this professional is going to be worth their time and money. It's the same for any business or service provider. To be honest I'm always wary of professional cuddlers who are have been active on the site but have zero karma.
I make sure they pay me for karma. I am always looking out for new revenue streams. I want to monetize words of affirmation during sessions next. I think if you pay for a compliment you savor it. At least that’s my pitch.
@justageekboy 🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸
@TheFunCartel “They pay me for karma” 😂😂😂 that is hilarious! I can just see that!
“Hey, it would be really cool if you left me a karma.” “Hey, it would be really cool if you left me a 20 in my cashapp.”
Cash for karma!
Innocent question here, is it actually against terms or rules to ask for/suggest/mutually agree to leave exchange of Karma?
My style is typically to ask: "Would you like me to leave you a Karma review?" Then I explain that sometimes I wait a day or two after the cuddle session before I post a thoughtful review.
Usually no further follow-up is necessary and I don't get butt hurt if they don't post me any Karma. Often it's a great way post-cuddle to reinforce positive vibes.
@Auroradream It happens all the time.
@Auroradream that’s a good question. I have often wonder the same. Some people don’t want any karma for privacy issues, just like @CuddleDuncan explained, which it very understandable and respected.
It’s not a problem to ask someone to leave you karma. Why would there be a rule against that? That’s how someone can build a profile. Especially if you are new to the site. If you’re a guy, some professionals won’t cuddle without karma and vice versa, so go ahead just don’t be pushy. Ask nicely :-)
I have seen pros offering incentives in their profiles for karma, like extra time or money off her hours. Not sure if that's against the rules, as I'm not a pro. I just read a pro profile who's not raising her hourly rate for those who've left her karma previously. If you want karma, you CAN ask. Karma is a site feature. It may be viewed as a tacky request by some, but someone else might feel honored that you want their opinion. Just don't be less than gracious if your request is declined.
A lot of people do not leave karma because they want to be discreet.
Exactly what I was going to say. Cuddlers often message me to say how much they enjoyed the cuddle session, but they don't want to leave karma as they are staying "under the radar" 🤷
I have had that happen too, and it is fine. I love positive karma of course, but I also respect people's privacy and desire to put themselves out there in whatever way works for them.
Hahaha! @TheFunCartel 🤣 I mean.....could be a good side hustle!
And yeah, there's plenty of cuddlers who don't leave it....and the reasons why vary widely. I learned to respect whatever they chose, but I'll try to leave it for them regardless 😊
After sessions, my clients are almost always so sweet to let me know they enjoyed their snuggle and I don't mind whether they leave a karma or not 🤗
😊🦊☺️
And don't forget the golden rule: "If you're still alive, give them a 5"
The karma system reminds me of both Army and Air Force officer evalution reports. The system evolved into one where anything that wasn't the maximum was considered bad or at least not ideal.
With that in mind, if I leave entirely positive karma it is always 5 stars.
@HarleyGirlKate They are exactly like those reports. Whatever happened to “so-so” which reflected inconsistency on both sides of the ledger? That’s not a good or bad thing, it just means you are part of the late term pregnancy look on a Bell Curve.
