@HarleyGirlKate have you ever seen snail zombies? They get infected by this flatworm parasite, and it makes their eyes look like caterpillars so that birds will eat the eye and then the parasite lives in the bird and then when the bird poops it out the snail eats the poop and gets infected again, the circle of life haha

Yes, it can be rough out there in the Circle of Life. I remember thinking that a couple of weeks when I was out hiking and what was in the middle of the trail but the entire rather fresh leg and thigh from a deer. Interestingly, at least to me, there were some lion tracks and a bunch of coyote prints all around it.

@kymmy44 thank you I’m not an entomologist, but I do like to study insects. They fascinate me! Maybe I’ll post some other interesting facts about some others later!
