Male pro? Apparently it’s a common thing in Japan

In planning my next trip, I came across this article about “Ossan Rental,” a service where you can rent a middle aged man for a few hours or a whole day. Reading the article it makes complete sense why this service would be in demand!

    I believe cuddle cafes actually started in Japan and then eventually gained traction in the States, so definitely not surprising ☺️☺️

    I’ve been on this planet a bit and I’m certain I’ve never heard the phrase rent a middle aged man.

    That’s got a helluva ring to it!

    Japan is an amazing culture it’s on my short list of places I want to go.

    I think that is pretty cool.

    I have a middle aged man I rent from time to time. The name of his business is Rent-a-Husband and he's coming over when I get home from Maine to do some drywall in my basement. I love that guy. My house wouldn't be the dame without him!

    Yes and no, I think. I think there are a lot of handyman out there, but mine is clearly the best.

    When he was out at my place one time doing some work with his "Rent-a-Husband" truck, another contractor, who was there servicing my generac that day, was teasing him about the name. I was in the kitchen and heard them through an open window. My handyman just laughed and said something like, "Yeah, almost all my customers are women and business is so good since I changed the name, I am going to hire a helper."

    The generac guy said, "Fuck, and in this economy too. Nevermind. You're the man," and they laughed.

    Anyway, he does really good work and seems very honest so I think he's pretty great. Haven't brought up my cuddling interest, but I think he's divorced and could use some cuddling, poor guy. 😕
