Does pro avoid flakes?

Hello was wondering if being pro stops all the flakes and helps with individuals actually respecting another person's time? I have been on this site for maybe 4 months and have basically only cuddled the same 4 people. It's gotten to the point where if anyone new messages ne I don't even bother to write down the date and time of the cuddle because
100% of the they aren't coming. I'm not exaggerating either . I get messages all day long and flakes all of them. Does being pro get you more people who are actually wanting to cuddle instead of waste everyone's time?

  • Short answer: No. it does not stop flakes. However, being a pro, I ask for a small deposit from new cuddlers that I have to travel to. So if I do head their way and they flake me, at least I got something out of it.

When I book with someone and they want to come to me, I have a public meeting with them first. We meet at a cafe 5 minutes from my home. I don’t give them my address. If they don’t show up, I just get my fave drink for my hubby and I and go home lol

  • I wouldn't think it'd stop flakes. I would think flakes are worse with pros and the enthusiast problem is message bombardment. I imagine you'll get less messages as a pro so in that respect less time wasters but they'll still be around.

How fast are you setting up cuddles with these people? As an enthusiast, I like to get to know people on the site first, to build a friendship or at least genuine mutual interest, before ever agreeing to meet. I've cuddled with over 50 individuals in my two years on the site, and only one person has ever flaked on me, though technically he hadn't made the final confirmation, so "flake" is a strong word. It wound up being a lovely evening, anyway...

  • Try Head & Shoulders.

  • Becoming a pro does not stop all flakes, but it will likely decrease your messages and possibly cause some of your current cuddles to stop if they only want free enthusiast cuddles.
As @SunsetSnuggles mentioned, talking to them a little more and building a friendship can help.

Also, I often message people the day of a cuddle to confirm that everything is still good (especially since I am normally driving) or the night before if its an early cuddle.
Wishing you the best and lots of warm cuddles! 🫂

  • The main thing I have found greatly reduces people canceling at the last minute or ghosting as a professional are asking for deposits. Especially if you don't know the person you are seeing.

I confirm almost every appointment I have - social, business, personal, cuddles, the lot - either the afternoon/evening before or morning of. Nowadays the exceptions are very specific and tend to be large organisations.

I've done this since my early 20s and it dramatically reduced the number of no-shows and general cock-ups. It has become more necessary over that time: before mobiles there was often no way to cancel at short notice, so people were more likely to turn up

In professional contexts, irrespective of industry, deposits significantly reduce the no-show rate. It is the principal of the deposit that matters, not the amount: in general the no-show rate for a 10% deposit is very similar to the no-show rate for a 50% deposit.

In the past, when on the professionals' side of the fence, I have gone so far as advertising a deposit requirement but not actually collecting the money. I wouldn't recommend that in anything other than a relatively informal or temporary situation, but it shows that the willingness to pay a depost is the key step.
