The expectation of double cuddles is that it is the combined rates of both pros. A client is not able to set the price of the booking, so if they receive a booking request that they are agreeing to paying, if the price is not the expected combined total of both pros hourly rates, then it is not unreasonable to ask why the rate went up. No one is expected to blindly accept a booking proposal where there is a price discrepancy. Yes, pros set their own rates which they display on their pages. If the rate is higher than what they say, then the client is not at fault for seeking clarification about the price. There are pros that are scammers on here. I am a moderator, I see this plenty and know it is true. And yes they get banned for this and the client is probably screwed out of their money. Screening goes both ways.
Greed baby, makes the world go round lol jk jk, as a business person myself my morals about pricing are fairly compassionate and lax. So if I'm expecting double the price, yeah I'd be surprised if it wasn't exactly that. But I'd just go to someone else . If your are gonna charge more than double, I think an explanation as to why so people understand isn't too much to ask for. I get it we are all trying to make bank, very good to ask, I've had passing thoughts about this one
It's a reasonable question. I cannot rationalize it with out thinking of a premium service aspect. In my mind 120+120 should equal 200. But if they can get away with a premium service charge, well done i guess. It just makes me wonder what makes it premium besides another person. Especially since both are getting a similar full payment. *i really tried to keep my language plain without adding any accusation, not sure i succeeded *.
But if anyone looks at that up charge as worthwhile i don't see an issue. I suppose it could be that neither reallY want to double but would with incentive. In that case if a double is what you think you need i guess pay
I've had a couple of double cuddles. Both times were at the cuddlers individual posted rates (i.e. each pro was $100 per hour, so $200 per hour for the sessions). I don't see any practical reason that a doubles rate should be any higher than the pros combined individual rates, unless maybe there's a short notice request or something (maybe having to offset the cost of hiring a babysitter in such a situation?)
I’ve had one double cuddle (it was awesome!) and the pros had different rates. They asked for their individual rates but I gave them both the same amount, the larger fee. I do agree that pros may set whatever fee they want and we can accept or move on.

Over the past 3 years I have read countless threads about pro prices. One common theme I have seen in the posts is that pros charge what they do, in part, because of the safety factor. They are taking a risk meeting alone with a client so their prices reflect an element of “hazardous duty pay” (my term, not theirs, but the concept is there).
So if anything, shouldn’t double cuddles be a little cheaper than the combined individual rates of the 2 pros because they should both be safer if there are 2 pros and 1 client? 🤔

@JohnR1972 i agree with your pricing comment, I'm not joking at all. But i don't set prices. Let's think of it like arithmetic. I can only get cuddled. It could be a pile of cuddlers but i can only get cuddled. 1cuddle plus 1 cuddle equals 1 cuddle. 1 plus 1 equals 1 terrance Howard math voice ok that's a joke, but not really.

If you find two enthusiasts who are willing to puddle then you don't have to sweat the cost- cheapo. No offense, You get what you pay for and you gotta pay to play as they say. I am an enthusiast so my time is freely given, but I support the entrepreneurially inclined sisters here. And bros too.
Yes, there are definitely more logical reasons that can be made for a discounted price applied to a double cuddle, rather than a premium price. (pro safety, effort/energy required by each, increased odds of another double cuddle session with the same person in the future)
To kinda summarize issue and explain the premium that was applied that OP is inquiring about, I propose the following revision to the thread's title: "Double Cuddle increased pricing logic?"
And this discussion also made me wonder: If two professional cuddlers walked in the woods together, which would they choose to encounter? the man or the bear?
Just as is the case in any other kind of transaction, the Client (ie. the customer) has choices, and has the final say on if his dollars are spent.
Likewise, the cuddle Pro is justified in setting her fee at whatever rate she wants, for whatever reason she wants. The rate she sets is the correct rate for her at that time.
There is no right or wrong, only the market forces of supply and demand.
