May God bless all the fallen and may they rest in peace.

  • Me over here thinking this was gonna be about James Earl Jones. Amazing how such seminal events just fade into the background of life.

  • When I visited the memorial in 2018, this voicemail was what struck a chord with me more than anything else...

I know there are many views on what may have happened that day, but hearing her voice break at the end was the moment I decided to drive from New York to Las Vegas to be with my boyfriend. Time with those you love is so incredibly precious.

  • Not forgotten at all. It was quite a day, even here in London.

  • I'm lucky my father was late to work that day. I wouldn't be here if he wasn't.

Rest in peace to all the victims inside and outside the towers.
Rest in peace to the first responders who had health complications from the toxic air in Ground Zero and passed on.
Rest in peace to the brave firefighters who gave their lives to save others.
My condolences to every affected family, every child who grew up without a mother or father.
And apologies to the victims of racist hate crimes after 9/11.

One of the worst tragedies to take place on American soil.

  • A day that changed America forever, both in obvious ways and in some ways we are just learning about.

  • Walked along the water this morning in Brooklyn. Never forget.
