James Earl Jones, RIP

edited September 2024 in General

He was a hero to me in many of his roles as I grew up, and he made the world a better place.

Farewell, Lord Vader. David Prowse wore the costume, but it was your voice that made the villain larger than life.

Well scheiss. Another icon is gone. Everytime I saw him listed in a movie I watched it. His mannerisms and that voice wowed me.

  • Oh man, too sad. 😔

  • RIP, King Jaffe Joffer.

  • The two big characters that walk into the corn at the end are both dead. RIP Ray Liotta and James Earl Jones.

  • Yes this man is responsible for so many childhood memories ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • I liked him in everything I saw him in. My favorite character he played was Thulsa Doom in Conan.

  • I will always remembee him as King Mufasa. Rip.

  • definitely lived a great life RIP King

  • Here is the movie based on the play that put him on the map. He won best actor on Broadway for the play and was nominated for the movie based on the real life boxer Jack Johnson who provided the impetus for the Mann Act because he loved a white woman.
