Narcissism wouldn't factor in, but I wouldn't for a split second imagine that their peaches or pie are any better than anyone else's. 😒 Advertising is all smoke and mirrors. Billions are spent on the psychology behind advertising and how to manipulate the masses with it. I'll buy my favorite apple pie, not one a biased seller is trying to peddle. 🥧

This is not it, in my view, at all. Most of the people who name themselves cocky things like Beautiful, Stud, Gorgeous, or Ripped, are actually those things. It would be doubly ridiculous if they weren't, and I'm sure the insults they would receive would be enough for them to change their ways. The issue isn't whether the person is actually attractive...it's what putting that in one's username says about the person. To me, it says conceited, shallow, and likely here for non-platonic reasons.

@SunsetSnuggles in my opinion you summed it up well, so it makes it fact. I know my name says I'm bashful because i didn't feel the need to spell out I'm always right. What's understood doesn't need to be said. I'm also beautiful, sexy, cuddly ( Well i lost a lot of weight so that might not be true any more) tough, strong, confident and brilliant. The list goes on but there aren't enough characters available in the screen name..... but I'm sure you already know.

Yes and a reminder…. Women consider appearance as well, when considering who to cuddle. And usernames, so many here should let that sink in. It’s not just a guy thing.

You can decide what others “should or shouldn’t” do all day long. It’s a waste of your mental energy. (IMO of course) And most people here might consider qualifying their statements of presumed fact as actually only their opinion because a few of us understand the difference. And when any are so pompous to believe that their opinions are fact, just seems laughable. This is something you learn and is proven over a long period of time. Some of you just aren’t there yet.

I chose hard facts over subjective opinions. I’m not rich, good looking, tall, talented, smart, funny or even peachy really. But I am fuzzy, too to bottom, all around.

I just wanted to say I’m an actual narcissist and I don’t say that about myself, so it’s either a trait I don’t have or not narcissistic. We are very full of ourselves type people and “think we know” everyone knows we’re gorgeous, beautiful etc we don’t need to tell anyone, so yea I think probably marketing, not narcissistic. 😂
