Denying Certain Races/Ethnicities

I'm new to the site and on some of the profiles I've read (both pro and non-pro) I've come across various versions of this statement. "...no African American, sorry." I know what I think about this, but I'm curious about what others think. So tell me...what do you think?

    Social justice wise not cool but everyone has their preference. If someone said no fat ppl or ugly ppl, it’s the same thing a preference.

    I'm not all up in people's profiles but I can only recall.seeing that in someone's profile once . You sure you're not trolling ? You just made an account and are making this claim...

    I'm surprised you have seen that a lot when you just joined the site this month and people who have been here for years have only rarely seen it. If you are seeing this on pro profiles, report it ... pros are not allowed to discriminate.

    Yea I’ve been here almost 6 years and I’ve never seen that at all so for a baby brand new person to have seen multiple times in a tiny span of time seems a bit unlikely 🤔

    But I’ll answer anyways.. if it’s a pro cuddler that has that, they need to be reported. I know Mark has said it’s ok to choose which genders you can cuddle with, but I’m pretty sure race and age are still frowned upon. I think if it says that in their profile, as a pro, they should be reported. If they really wanted to be picky based on age or race, they need to keep it to themselves and simply say “sorry, I’m unavailable” to all the ones they don’t want to cuddle.

    @pmvines It's not a claim nor trolling. It's fact! You said you've even seen it yourself. I could have easily taken a screenshot of the person's profile and included it in my discussion, but IMO that would be unethical. Your statement about how you're not "all up in people's profiles" is disingenuous as well. How do you learn about potential cuddling partners if you don't look at their profile?

    @BClark I am so sorry that you have come upon anything like that. I mostly see people here expressing they are open to all races all genders all lifestyles. It’s saddening and sickening to me, that people feel that way and I hate that you have come across that. I know if I came across a profile like that I would immediately block the profile. I can’t imagine it is ok for a pro to say that maybe flag/report a pro and for sure send a screenshot to a mod or admin … but at the same time I wouldn’t personally want to cuddle with someone that feels that way towards anyone based on race.

    @MissPamelaV I agree that everyone has their preference, including me, but how you say "no" to people does matter. Again, I'm new to the site, so I'd love to know if anyone has ever seen "no caucasian" in a profile.

    I joined in 2016 and saw it in the narrative about me section part of a profile once . You just joined and make claims that it's a regular occurrence. Doesn't mean there aren't prejudice people and folks with their preferences however it's not something that's being put in people's profiles on the regular as you claim

    Pretty sure pros aren't allowed that verbiage in their profile per the rules they have agreed to. Report them. (The site will remove their verbiage, but the pro is still not required to cuddle or communicate with anyone they don't want to.)
    Non-pros (anyone cuddling and not getting paid) are allowed to pick and choose their criteria. I have seen race and nationality preferences listed on guys profiles, along with weight/size, bra size and hair color. That much detail screams non platonic to me.

    While I have never seen racial preferences mentioned in other's profiles (within the 2 years that I have been active here), I have rejected cuddling with individuals who are only interested in cuddling with me because of my skintone.😏

    @Sheena123 My intention was to listen to what others thought as a way to "check" my own thoughts about it, but it's hilarious to me that some are questioning if what I'm saying is true because I am new. It's equally interesting that the people doing the questioning are people who don't look like me.

    I'm curious where you are searching geographically. I looked at every enthusiast profile within 50 miles of you online in the last month and none of them had that reference.

    @starrynitecuds I agree on seeing weight/ body size preferences in mostly men's profiIe information, I have yet to see racial preferences yet. Yes, some people are jerks, it is what it is.

    @JohnR1972 You can call it what you want. I know what I saw. And you're just another person who doesn't look like me who's questioning whether or not what I saw is true. A lot of the responses are what I expected, but THIS kind of response is surprising and just as troubling as the reason for my post!

    Various means “many different”. You claim to have seen “Many different” versions of those statements on both pro and non-pro profiles. I have been on this site at least 50 times longer than you have (37 months vs 3 weeks AT MOST). I am pretty sure if there were many different versions of this scattered across the site, I would have encountered at least one of them before now.

    @BClark You haven't been on here long enough to realize we get a lot of troll topics and a lot of banned members sneaking back on here to make trouble. Most forum dwellers have their BS radar set to high.

    As Joyful Heart said, you have the option to file reports, which is the proper course of action. Keep coming back to the topic and losing your temper will probably eventually lead to you saying something you shouldn't and getting banned. You made your point - file your reports and move on and the mods will investigate and take action as needed.

    I’ve seen ZERO such statements in 3 years. @pmvines has seen 1 such statement in 8 years. So between us we have 11 years on the site and we have both been pretty active on the site. Combined, we have seen 1 such statement in 4,000 days but you have seen MANY instances in 22 days (or less). So I will repeat my request - tell me the top 3 holes in my argument.

I asked a question as a new member about what others think about something I was experiencing and in some instances instead of just answering my question, my truthfulness is being questioned and now it's being implied that I'm "coming back to the topic and losing [my] temper," that I was "trying to [make a] point," and that I might "[say] something [I] shouldn't and [get] banned," LOL! Nothing like a warm welcome! Nice to meet all of you too!

    I am still curious about my question. Geographically, where are you searching? That information would make it a lot easier for your statement to be proven true.

    My comments were in your interest. I have seen arguments on here lead to banning 1000 times. Since it is impossible for you to cite specific profiles (it's against the rules), you have one recourse and that is reporting to the mods. Arguing with strangers on the Internet does not address the problem you raised.

    Interesting. I’ve never seen this in three years I’ve been on here. If they are a pro, report it because it’s against the TOS. If not a pro, just their personal preference, so just contact someone else. I’ve seen several different preferences for enthusiasts (age, height, smoker,non-smoker, weight, etc.).

    I think the overall ethos of cuddle comfort is overwhelmingly inclusive, so maybe your experience is a regional variation. I've cuddled a rainbow just this weekend but I'm in a big city.

I do want to note that I understand the skepticism expressed here, considering the newness of the account, and the fact that we've seen examples of this being a sign of someone having made a duplicate account.
