Pro Cuddlers Ghosting Lol

@skyhighsugar I think his confusion is stemming from her suggesting another session with him bringing food. Obviously, that could be a) something she honestly intended but life got in the way, b) something she changed her mind about, or c) something she said to end the session on a positive note. As has been pointed out, if she doesn't want to be in touch with him, she could have just blocked him, so I lean a bit toward option A.

    .

  • @WriterGF - The person knows if they've been blocked if they try to contact them again. Maybe she didn't block him to spare his feelings.

  • @WriterGF His feelings are valid but that doesn’t mean he’s warranted any kind of a response or interaction. Nobody was involved in their cuddle session besides OP and the party he’s claiming “ghosted” him. Nobody can speak on her account, besides speculation of course. But even if they had a great session and let’s say she intended to meet again, perhaps (speculation based off this post) his post cuddle behavior has deterred her from future interaction. Again, pure speculation since that’s what this thread seems to be warranting lol

Getting the ick doesn’t necessarily require or warrant blocking someone. I’ve had clients give me the ick post cuddle. I didn’t block them but I didn’t encourage their behavior by giving them attention of any kind either. No response is a response. Just based on my own experiences of course (had a client stalk my online activity and constantly message me about it) 😁

    @mrtechguy

This is the only account that I have ever had

That is certainly something we hear a lot from previously-banned members. Pretty much every single one. At least the ones that don’t go the route of cussing us out. So how long until your doppelgänger makes another account to curse this latest pro out?

From a previously-banned account to another pro: (It, of course, was not censored.)

“**** you, you ugly man-face-looking *****.. You'll never have a man and I hope you don't get bookings. I simply asked you what times you were available on Thursday which you recommended, since your profile does not specify specific times! And you block me in return? You're probably racist, you dumb ugly white *****, suck my ****.”

    😮‍💨

  • @CharlieBear - Sounds like that person needs a mental institution instead of a professional cuddler.

  • @Mike403 I wish mental institutions had cuddlers. There's some people it would really help.

  • @CharlieBear do banned members not get IP banned :anguished: I guess I never looked into it but hoped that was the case.

  • @IronLemon as a mentally ill girly who’s been in psychiatric hospitals, I don’t think anyone could guarantee their safety sadly. I highly recommend stuffed animals though. Or even weighted blankets.

  • @skyhighsugar - Nobody has static IP addresses anymore. Our IP addresses change periodically. If you IP ban them, they will be unbanned when they get a new IP address and somebody else who is assigned that IP address will find themself banned.

I am just so incredibly tired of banned members posting to the forums about their latest grievances… 😮‍💨

  • @Mike403 I was kind of wondering if maybe that was the case, and there’s also VPNs and other ways around it I suppose. Not a tech guru but a millennial that remembers IP bans being effective (I was once IP banned from neopets as a child for hacking other accounts to steal their neopoints and that sure was effective back then) and hoped there was some way to keep a banned user off of a website they’ve been banned from.

  • @skyhighsugar they do, but dynamic IP’s are recycled fairly frequently. There are other methods of knowing though, and in this case, there is no doubt.

  • @skyhighsugar - Back in the early 2000s, IP address were static and if somebody wanted to connect more than one device to their internet, they had to order and pay for more IP addresses from their ISP.

  • @skyhighsugar I unfortunately have to agree. When I was in, most of the people were nice, some I wouldn't have minded being friends with. And some I preferred to avoid, which actually wasn't difficult. I think some people are definitely safe (especially if they check themselves in for depression), some should not be left alone with someone, and many are just uncertain.

Stuffed animals and weighted blankets are nice, but they typically don't have arms they can wrap around you.

  • I love coming into threads and seeing how soon some drama starts

  • @jps76 here, just for you

  • @CharlieBear
    Asking for clarification here…
Is mrtechguy (the OP) the previously banned member you’ve shown in your spoiler? I’m not understanding…
If so, why is OP still here? Just trying to understand the drama with this thread so that I can more thoroughly enjoy it.

  • Nonetheless I am not bent out of shape about it. She has not obligation to respond or accept a new session even despite her stating that would like to meet again. Life is teaching me not to assume anything, and to expect nothing from anyone.

    @g_w_t_w
Yes. Same person. That message was from a previous account. This one is not banned yet, will be soon. Letting another mod handle.

  • @CharlieBear - The join date of this account is October 2023. He managed to survive almost a year without being caught?

  • @Sooson
My inbox asked me to pass this to you for the bowl: 🔑

Check out the last two items on this Cuddle Gear post - Huggle Healers especially, and Bumpas.

I understand the frustration that comes from being blocked or ghosted. It sucks. If you feel you had been discriminated against before, please just report and we can look into it. No need to be so verbally abusive to someone.

  • @Mike403
Yes. It was made shortly after the previous one was banned. There is not much to be done to prevent it until one is reported or puts a spotlight on themselves.

  • @CharlieBear
I would say to send them to my gripes and other grievances thread but for some unknown reason it seemed to have disappeared into the hidden thread void

  • @pmvines
Oh hmm I have no idea where that one went. Was it recent? I don’t see it hidden away.

  • @CharlieBear
Nah, it was a long time ago and doesn't show up on the My Discussions tab

  • @CharlieBear Are we able to report Pro Cuddlers who agree to bookings and accept via site and don't show up?

  • @CharlieBear Are we able to report Pro Cuddlers who agree to bookings and accept via site and don't show up?

    So here is the process:
Step 1: You leave a negative karma mentioning the no-show
Step 2: She makes an excuse
    Step 3: Negative karma removed.

And you just move on to the next...

  • @mrtechguy
Yes you can report them for being a no-show.
