Music to cuddle by 🎢

[Deleted User]ClassicCuddles0 (deleted user)

What music do you like as ambience during cuddling?

I find "relaxing music" to relaxing and sleepiness begins to set in (potentially offensive to the cuddle buddy). Dance, metal or rock is a bit too active. And pop, well, I'm not keen on associating songs to the buddy (though it can be funny, eg whenever I hear 'Toxic' I think of you).

What is the Goldilocks cuddle music?

PS: aware that some people prefer no music, interested to see how many people that is.

Morning Walk by Brian Culbertson. Actually, just about anything on the Winter Stories album would be good. Any one of the three albums in his Trilogy is good as well.

  • I have a YouTube playlist of soft "jazzy" music that I like to play

    Anything with P Diddy

  • But seriously. I sing like a dang bird. Been known to sing along to a cuddle playlist. Sometimes a soothing or inspirational song to share is just the thing! Just avoid slow jams/romantic kissy music.

  • Actually Pdiddy and Guy Gerber have a techno album together that has worked for me

  • 😏

Nah, fo' real though, I never host so I've never had to decide. Most of my cuddles take place in lovely parks, so the birds and the breeze in the leaves is our music. 🐦🌳

I've had one of my cuddle buddies bump his favorite music during part of our snuggle though, and it was great! I have a very wide range of taste in music, from hip-hop to doo-wop, four-part harmony to metal, so I'd be open to anything.

Similarly, I've had movie cuddles during everything from Disney to horror films. πŸ˜†

  • I've started to really like lo-fi.
It's @osohug10 's fault as he introduced me to it! lol

Almost any of the Stick Figure catalog

  • I had a client play oldies (a mix of 60s & 70s) and I found it quite fun honestly. Little humming on my end made us both feel more comfortable around each other.

I play Hammock's Everything and Nothing album, but I need to switch it up because I love that album and now it's getting deeply associated with cuddling. You might enjoy it, it lasts about 1 hour, too, so that's nice. You can put it on a 5-10mins before session and let it help set the mood pre-emptively.

  • @SunsetSnuggles How did you embed that video? I tried using YT embed sharing

    <

    iframe> and it didn't work. :-1:

  • @cozysox don't imbed it just paste the link ... it'll embed itself if it is a video. Btw, I tried your link and it was a broken link which is why it might not be embedding correctly

    Midevil vibes

  • @Quel I think 80s are also oldies by now , or not yet ?

  • Napalm Death

  • @Sooson you're right.. 80s is probably oldies to by now but let's not talk about that πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  • @cozysox
I fixed the link in your comment. Like @GuyverGordon said, you just need to paste the link :)

  • @Quel yea i know tell me about it just another thing I don't need to remind me how old I am.
Congrats on finally taking that star out of your eye.

  • I have never played El Ten Eleven while cuddling but I should. I have seen them play live so many times and I have so many happy memories listening to their music I don't know why I hadn't thought of that before. I guess I hadn't because I'd wanna make sure the other person enjoys the music as well.

Congrats on finally taking that star out of your eye.

@Sooson paul Stanley likes the star though

  • The "Deep Focus" playlist on Spotify is my go-to, it's so soothing πŸ™Œ

  • @cozysox
Looks like your question has been answered, but yep, I just copy the link from the address bar on a computer and paste it, or now that I finally broke and got the YouTube app, hit Share and copy the link and paste it, on my phone. 😊
