Red flag?

I recently texted with a lady and we are planning to cuddle in a few days. I just noticed that her account has been suspended. Should I be concerned?

  • As a practical matter, the answer is "maybe". Could be as simple as her payment method for the site fees not working, or it could be something else.

What was the exact term used?

Here is the definition of the various profile statuses:

@nikonbrad Is she a pro or an enthusiast?

  • She is not a pro, just someone that likes to cuddle from what I can tell. I did look again and it says her account has been banned. 😳

  • @nikonbrad Welcome to my world. I think every enthusiast who has written me back has ended up getting banned between their reply to me, and my (inability at that point) to respond back.

  • I wouldn't count on the session pulling through unless you've chatted off-site already.

  • We have chatted off site via text messages. I’m debating whether or not to ask her about her account being banned. I hate this.

  • I would just ask her what's going on. Mine was recently on pause because I had to update my payment method. Perhaps she has a logical explanation hopefully. Good luck.

  • @nikonbrad - It could be a scammer. The mods don't go around banning accounts because they feel like it. I recommend not contacting a banned member unless you know them and know they weren't ban for any reasons such as that. (some people got banned for making political comments in the forums)

  • Oh, sure why not. Maybe also ask if she'll still be able to do the session. Depending on her response, you'll have your answer.

I would text and ask her what happened. Curiosity would be too much for me. 😁 Just be aware that her answer is likely to be a lie, given the situation.

As for cuddles, I would seek elsewhere. It's highly possible that she was posing as an enthusiast but was actually charging for cuddles. If her profile initially said Paused, then went to Banned, that is typically the case of what the site calls an Untagged Pro.

@nikonbrad I would be so curious as to what happened also. Whatever you decide to do, proceed with caution.

I wonder if a mod would be able to provide any insight in situations like that when a a person wants to make sure the account wasn’t deleted because of something shady.

  • I think a lot of people get banned because they don't understand the site. They sign up because they believe they can get paid and then proceed not understanding they have to be a pro before they charge. At that point a few conversations and money comes up they'll likely get paused and depending on what else happens they get banned. Often an enthusiast finds out they think they are trying to get paid and reports them. At that point depending on what the convo is they could get banned. It's happened, and they just have not got into the rules or the forums. Or she is trying to charge, if you discover that's her goal make your choice. Red flag yes, but that red flag my turn pink once you have more info.

  • Thanks everyone for your advice. She hasn’t brought up the topic of payment at any point during our conversation. She is not listed as a professional either. I think I’m going to text her and ask her if she knows why she got banned. Also, if any of you find ladies are in Columbus, Ohio and are a cuddle enthusiast please let me know!

Hate to burst your bubble but just because she isn't a pro doesn't mean she won't still try to charge as lots of people join and either don't realize you have to go through a process to be a pro and charge, or they know and simply think they can do it anyway. If she didn't mention money then perhaps this isn't the case however she could have intended on waiting to mention it and got banned first. In fact she could have gotten banned for that very thing, as being and untagged pro is a bannable thing here. But since you have been onsite since 2018 I'm sure h is u already know that.

  • Account suspensions (or "paused") are usually for one of two things - pro upgrade (if they weren't a pro before) or expired bank card info (if they are a pro). There are a couple of other less common reasons - but these are situations where the person can restore their account (once they complete the pro approval process or fix the billing issue).

A timeout is a moderator-imposed break from the site, usually for repeated or egregious rule violations - usually 7-14 days.

Deleted means that the cuddler has voluntarily deleted their account. They can restore their account within 30 days before the deletion becomes permanent.

Banned means that their account has been closed by a moderator for rule violation(s) or inappropriate requests. It is possible that an appeal may be accepted and their account is restored.
