SORRY THIS IS SO LONG- I thought several possible clues need to be mentioned.
Hi, all female enthusiasts over 50 or 60: There is a guy, or a group of people with fake profiles on FaceBook Dating and here who are targeting older women.
Watch for long, repeated messages full of self-praise about how honest they are, and claiming the person has a long list of admirable qualities from every woman’s wish list. Watch for strange, non-English-speaker word choice and rhythm. He’ll love-bomb you, go to texting and phone calls quickly, but although he claims to live near you, somehow he’s too busy to ever meet you. Probably doesn't exist on FaceBook, LinkedIn. If he tells you a profession, no links to any existing professional association or business. Will ask LOTS of questions about you. Will find out if YOU have any projects/problems requiring, $$ and he will offer to give you a loan, but no loan happens. There will be an emergency; maybe a relative is sick/dying. He will go visit them, often in a foreign country, and soon he will ask for a ‘small emergency loan’ because of a bank snafu and/or unexpected expenses. He may be able to cry convibcibgly over the phone: unless you’re made of stone, you WILL feel terrible and want to help. He’ll remind you he offered to give/loan you an even larger amount. He will doubt your affection, call you mean, hard-hearted, selfish. He’ll say the woman he loves is kind and generous. He’ll keep guilting you, saying only you can help him.
FYI I have first-hand proof that Bank of America and Chase Bank have locked 2 of his accounts in the past week for FRAUD. Hundreds of thousands of dollars flowed into those accounts before they were locked. Ask your banker how a ‘funnel account’ works, and ask them to check any account you’ve been asked to wire money to. Finally, please message me if you want to know the name of the man who owns one of the ‘funnel accounts’ used in this scam. It is NOT a profile name, but a scammer using a fake profile on CC . If you mention this name, his reaction may be revealing. If he’s part of that man’s scammer group, he won’t deny it; he’ll blast you for not trusting him. It’s a big group, working across the US with a foreign base.
If you have never met him, please do not send any money. You will never see that money again.
You can block him, report him, or at least proceed with your eyes open. I hope that we all, men and women and everyone on the gender spectrum ,will find great cuddle-buddies to connect with. But be smart!! Thanks to anyone who took the time to read this. Happy cuddling!
