As the patient, I’m a wounded animal when sick and want to be left alone to heal, being brusque and irritable when disturbed. I’m usually pretty good restraining that impulse but that’s stressful too. Don’t think I’d benefit. I appreciate the quick 5 min “I care enough to come down here” visit, but don’t want them to stay.
As for me being the healthy cuddler, gonna say no. I’m not (yet) a germophobe but the statistics about super bugs and hospital acquired infections makes me say stay away unless I need to be there.

I absolutely would! that being said I don't know that i could fit in a hospital bed with someone but I would do my best to find a way to cuddle them and give them comfort.
