@g_w_t_w "Because OMG wrinkles are so scary for cuddling!!"

Noooooo!!!!! Wrinkles are not scary! I am starting to think they are like catnip to guys who are too young to have their own!

Well over half of the guys who ask me to cuddle are more than 27 years younger than I am. It would be like @cuddlebear262 cuddling people who haven't even been born yet. Either someone forgot to tell my cuddles to check the age on my driver's license...or they were just too busy laughing, cuddling, (or snoring from being too relaxed) to notice my evil scary wrinkles! 🤣🤣🤣

To be fair, when I was his age, people over 30 were from a different generation. Now that I am 60ish, all people are just fellow humans needing connection...and back rubs...lots of back rubs!

  • Well... this thread got a little

    lol @Gwynne42
    Isn’t it the truth???
    Yes it got off-topic a few pages back I guess @TxTom 😱

@g_w_t_w imagine telling a person if you cant afford marriage counseling either fix your own marriage or divorce. Very insensitive but the majority of the American mindset is, which is why a cuddle site has to exist in the first place. If I were asked by somebody in need of a cuddle is the $400 cuddle better than the $120 cuddle, I would tell them no. What you're paying for is her looks, her cleavage photos and the fact that she's gonna use those clients as a way to quit her day job, not because she cares about the therapy of cuddling. Sorry I'm just very honest, most ppl don't like that.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@ExclusivelyHeal Here's a few things just to throw in there --
    1) Pros charge what the market will bear. If a pro is charging, say, $400 an hour, and gets no business, she will lower her price. If she's not doing that, obviously she is getting business. I have seen pretty high prices too, but they were in places like LA where the cost of living is a lot higher.

Just as an example - let's say you have a pro in Boston who charges a high price. Cost of living is really high there, so she is already paying a lot for rent, gas, etc. On top of that, she is renting office space to do her cuddling in (as some pros do), so you have that expense too. Charging $100 an hour will not even let her break even.

    2) Some pros charge a lot because they are happy to only have a few clients and it's a way to discourage others. Maybe this is just something they do on the side, so they are fine with emphasizing quality of client over quantity.

There are certification programs out there, but the jury is out on whether they are worth it or worth a higher price.

Certainly I have seen pros I could never afford. But I figure they are doing a very dangerous job and if they think their time is worth X, then go ahead and charge X. If no one wants to pay that, the price will go down or they will quit the business.

@cuddlebear262 - Just a note. While it is true that the money pros contribute is important to the site, it's also important to note that without pros, there wouldn't be a site. There are nowhere near enough active female enthusiasts here for all the men, so without pros, most men would get no cuddles at all and the site would have died long ago. Initially, this was purely an enthusiast site - it changed because demand exceeded supply.

  • From my perspective, the exchange of money benefits people who have sessions with pros, and not just during the cuddle session.

Many of the men who come to this site are in a state of at least temporary brokenness, or we wouldn't feel the need to sign up here. (This was the case for me when I joined.) Men in that category will find it difficult, and sometimes impossible, to do the emotional labor needed to find an enthusiast or someone in their offline lives to cuddle with.

Booking a pro transfers some of a man's risk from his emotional bank account to his financial bank account. My first cuddles were with pros, and it was several years before I healed enough to negotiate cuddle time with enthusiasts.

I will say that every dollar I spent was worth it, and that the pros I've seen earned what they were paid, regardless of what their rate happened to be.

The cuddles I have valued the most were not valued because of someone's physical appearance, but because of the sense of emotional, intellectual, and spiritual connections I've found with them.

I know from my observation as a moderator that there are men for whom the emotional labor is something that they are unwilling to do, rather than something they are unable to do. I'm not saying this to bash those men (if they're reading this) but to say that there are rewards for becoming willing to do that kind of work. The rewards go beyond a cuddle that lasts a few hours and reaches to a life that's had been enriched through growth and healing.

TLDR: When someone insinuates that a pro is doing something inappropriate based solely on the rates she charges, it makes the accuser sound entitled.

  • @WriterGF @JoyfulHeart
Thank you for your common sense comments and hopefully will be understood more clearly.
Some men here do feel resentful and entitled that their needs aren’t being met in the exact way they want. That they don’t get to control cost of Pro Cuddling, instead of working on themselves or having a real relationship instead of a temporary hug that they must pay for.
They seem to not want to hear this from a woman especially.
But i only feel a little sad for the frustration those men must feel from trying to control other’s behavior.

  • @ExclusivelyHeal Who charges $400 for a cuddle? That’s insane.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@magpie17201 I have seen that price from one cuddler in Los Angeles.

@ExclusivelyHeal So far, you have implied pros charging high prices are offering other services and dismissed men willing to pay those prices as solely being interested in "cleavage photos." Keep going, there might be someone you haven't offended yet. If you go into the grocery store and something is too expensive, do you rage at the store or do you find something you can afford? Does every car manufacturer have an obligation to make sure they are pricing in your range?

Find a pro you can afford or go for an enthusiast where it will be free. Stop worrying about the ones you can't afford because nothing you say is going to change that situation. No one is obliged to change their price to suit you and libelling them will get you nothing but banned here.

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

    I haven’t been offended yet

  • He hasen't offended me either

  • [Deleted User]ExclusivelyHeal (deleted user)

@WriterGF I appreciate your response and that makes sense, I can get that because I'm from New York so I can see where the cost of living in the economies of scale would weigh in on the pricing that one puts down. However with that said I thought that this was about therapy as opposed to just people pricing what they want. Now for the most part I believe that the prices are absolutely reasonable they range between $85 and $120 which I believe is very acceptable. Personally if I was a billionaire I would not pay $400 for a cuddle I still think it's ridiculous. Because if this is about therapy then the One charging $400 for the cuddle to me is not any better than the one charging $85 or $120 for the cuddle. But that's just my opinion and again the Forum was opened for this dialogue so I just threw in my portion. I say good luck to those who are charging whatever but they'd never get my money anyway.

  • Several hundred dollar hourly rates, sexy photos and offers to go on all-expenses paid dates and vacations with random strangers are indicative of more than platonic intentions by both sides in these transactions.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@ExclusivelyHeal Not to nitpick, but it's not about therapy, because 99% of pros are not therapists of any kind. They are people willing to share touch for money. They may have nobler motives well, but bottom line, it's a business.

@lonelytauros @sooson I wouldn't expect either of you to be offended.

  • @g_w_t_w I don't know that it was exactly 7, I used ~ to represent approximation. How I came to 7 is that I can do basic math. I originally had a wider age range I was comfortable with cuddling but noticed I had nothing to talk about with those on the higher end. At best we would talk about their kids because sometimes they had a kid that was closer in age to me than they were. I decided that age group wasn't for me and decreased my age filter by 10 years. The cuddler now shows in my new filter with an age 2 years younger than the upper limit, so I know she decreased her age by at least 7. I never said I had an issue with wrinkles (oh no so scary) but if the only thing you're bringing to a cuddle session is wrinkles, I'd rather cuddle my mother because then I'd at least have things to talk about.

It's sad anyone would feel compelled to lie about their age because they were insecure about aging. But this was a thread about how we can improve a site and I firmly believe verified age would be an improvement. 7 years may seem insignificant when you're in the last third of your life but on the lower end it's a huge gap. Would you also defend a teenager lying about their age so they can cuddle as the site is 18+ only? a 13 year old would only have to lie by 5 years, well within the 7 some of you claim to not be an issue.

Deception in general is the other issue. It's wild that so many of you defend it, but maybe it's a generational thing and the older generations are just more comfortable with lying and deceit. Cuddling even platonically is quite intimate and I find it hard to let myself be vulnerable with someone I just met and found out the very first thing they did to me was lie.

@WriterGF thank you kind sir! I grew up in a middle class household and drank from the garden hose but I will confess something to you I was a bit offended when that guy from Texas bought that signed Taylor Swift guitar and smashed with a hammer…brought a tear to my eye

  • @jackwallace Some people here are so naive. And these are the selective readers that will allways rush to attack such comments.
Many of these profile have SB vibe to them. Because that's what they are. They cater to a
specific demand that apparently exists here.
Now I'm not saying that every such profile offers the Brazzers experiance but odds are that quite a few do. I'm surprised legit pros are not more outspoken about it.
Even in the event that they are legit cuddlers, the $400 cuddle is not 4X better than the $100 one. I had my best experisnces at the $80-$100 range.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@lonelytauros And probably moreso when it turned out he spent $4000 for a fake.

  • [Deleted User]MaverickLegend (deleted user)

@WriterGF that part didn’t really bother me. The part that bothered me was like damn do you know how many cuddles I can get for $4000?

  • Back on topic, it is annoying to repeatedly refresh in order to see whether the person in chat has responded to a question. Is there a reason chat cannot auto refresh?

  • Re: Block

The @username autofill drop down menu in the forums should automatically exclude any User who has blocked you, in order to avoid violating the rule on circumventing a Block.

This, despite the fact that Blocks ostensibly don't apply in the forums, and a Blockee can still tag a Blocker.

There is no notification when a User has been blocked. The only way to tell is by attempting to visit the Blocker's profile, or by opening your shared message history, if there is one.

  • If I understand @TxTom correctly, I agree.
There was a frequent forum commenter who I blocked but that person continued to tag me in forum comments, despite the fact that I requested they stop.
Is that what you meant, to prevent that?
Eventually, that user was timed out and was gone for a while, which was a nice break. They’ve come back and now are better behaved.

  • @g_w_t_w Yes, correct.

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

I discovered that on LinkedIn, if you block someone, not only can they not message you but it deletes all their past messages and blocks you from seeing their forum posts.

  • edited October 2024

@WriterGF There might be that option on Reddit also - not sure as I don’t use it that much and though there’s a lot of abusive behavior there, I’ve not had to experience it directly.
I’ve thought about checking out LinkedIn because I do have an account but I haven’t been on there in years. Is it as entertaining as this forum?

  • ... and blocks you from seeing their forum posts.

My only issue with that is a lot of conversational context can be lost.

  • I think we should consider people being blocked from a particular thread if they are being argumentative or something. Allowing the thread to continue. I've seen some threads get locked because a few people turn them in to political soap boxes. I think they are valuable or interesting discussions that are being locked and would be interested in the discussion. It's really disturbing to me that some are deciding the value of a discussion based on whatever they feel. I can offer examples, what music are you listening to isn't really appealing to me, but a discussion of souls is. I hate to see them locked because a few get emotionally attached to an idea and have to derail good thought. 2 cents

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

@TxTom It's actually kind of amusing. You end up seeing people arguing with themselves because you can't see what the other person is saying. You end up blocking very sparingly because the target figuratively ceases to exist.

@g_w_t_w No, not entertaining at all. It's half wannabe influencers trying to sell you something and half folks bemoaning the impossibility of finding a job. So alternately annoying and depressing.

  • Could we change back to when we were able to update and amend the date and time of booking proposals...

@Ariananotgrande this was a bug and is now fixed. Thank you for letting us know. Any other issues, please use the Contact form here.

  • It would be helpful to have a **Hide profile **option. There are multiple reasons someone might not want to view certain profiles again without having to block them.

Blocking is too harsh on some cases and could be taken wrong. The main reason is some profiles show different profile pics (not sure if cuddle changed or it’s a site feature) so I click again on a profile I’m not interested in. I occasionally get messages asking why I looked more than once. Sigh.

A big deal? No. But it would be a helpful feature.
