I don’t recall you suggesting that the Pro was lying about her Father dying.

As a matter of fact you implied you believed her and had empathy for her.

We only have your word- so more than likely the Pro would have a far different version of how the conversation actually went

If the tone of your post was that a Pro is running a scam and lying about a death in the family-then the responses would have been directed at the Pro and not you.

You wrote a long post and perhaps you should go back and read your words to refresh your memory.

“My conversations with them were generally pleasant and supportive.”

This implies you communicated that you were understanding of why the session would obviously have to be postponed if her Father died. You also clearly believed her.

This explains her reaction when you called THE NEXT DAY-saying she should be in communication with you-while she is burying her Father.

  • @Ripley54566
Here is how I and probably most guys would probably handle that-since you seem to be looking for advice or you would not have brought this to the forum.

Let's Go through this together so you can get it down.

"Hey-I am truly sorry for your loss-Take the time you need with your family and we can touch base when you get back.

Most of us would NEVER say this to someone who just lost their Father-

"Hey- I really need more communication from you-It’s been a day- We need to get that cuddle session schedule or send me a refund."

Also most of us would almost NEVER double down and say
_"Hey, I paid for a cuddle. I don't really care about the death of your Father. When can we work in that cuddle session."
    _
You should probably run through that a few times so you don't forget how to act when someone you know has a death in the Family.

My man, seriously- What world are you living in?

  • I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt especially since you said you had bipolar, but based on your responses like "I simply just don't see any personal benefit to being kind or considerate to others or how they feel" and doubling down on it, I can't think of another reason for posting this AITA-like thread, so here you go:

Yeah, hard to tell if you're serious or just trying to be an edge lord. Either way you definitely seem to have a certain kind of resentment towards cuddle pros so not really sure why you'd even be on here utilizing their services.

I’m honestly curious to know what’s the real reason you decided to join the site, and what has changed? Because your profile differs from what you have stated here.

Also, why would you continue to subject yourself through such abhorrent behaviors?

*These are real questions, not trying to be sarcastic.

@Ironlemon Where is this idea that I have any expectations of people cuddling me for free coming from? I never said this. What the hell?

And no I don't want people to care about me. Please stop caring about me is what I pretty much said.

And it's never the things I do that hurt people. It's always the things I don't do for people. Why is this my fault? I don't owe anyone shit other than what we agreed upon.

  • @Ripley54566 and @MountainCuddles you two are like two peas in a pod. Your approach to treatment of cuddlers is the same.
Riley in sorry if women were mean to you isn’t the past but that doesn’t give you the right to treat other people shitty either.
You say you don’t see the need to be nice or kind to others. How about just being a decent person, it doesn’t cost any money.
Have you ever been diagnosed with being on the spectrum a bit? My best friend is on the spectrum and he can’t seem to connect to people and reads them wrongly and is matter of fact like you and can be at times not understanding why he should act a certain way. But when I explain to him why something would be good to do he changes and adjusts.
But seriously next time a cuddler says when might I see you again, just say I’ll let you know when. If I continue to treat people cold and calculating you’re gonna be alone and it won’t be the fault of the other person.

@supadupa I actually really want to just be alone, but it's almost like no one will let me lately.

Treating people cold and calculating doesn't work as well as you'd think it would. There's always going to be some idiot who thinks they can fix you.

  • @IronLemon You know exactly what I meant. I meant that most people are self-centered but put on a facadce that they are otherwise. I respect the op for just being honest and not being "nice," which by the way is different than being kind.

I can tell. You are so magnetic and full of charisma.

It couldn’t possibly have anything to do with writing a novella, starting a thread with the novella, then asking what people thought.

  • @supadupa - Narcissism and Autism are polar opposites from each other. Autistic individuals cares about others feeling but doesn't understand them. Narcissistic individuals understands others feeling but doesn't care.

I simply just don't see any personal benefit to being kind or considerate to others or how they feel.

    This looks like narcissistic behavior.

Being unkind and inconsiderate seems to be working so well.
If you just want to be left alone maybe this post was a bad idea.

  • Then be alone and stop projecting victimhood.for attention

  • Yes, when I want to be left alone, I post on a cuddling message board about how much I don't care about people, talk down pros who were kind to me and get defensive when people respond. Because staying in my hidey-hole means people actually do leave me alone and don't give me the attention I seek.
    The audacity!!!

  • I wonder if this is a troll post. A cuddle site isn't an appropriate place for somebody who hates people and wants to be alone.

  • @IronLemon

This sentence is honestly a scary one to read. It makes it seem like you see people as objects.
I simply just don't see any personal benefit to being kind or considerate to others or how they feel.

    Agreed, it's chilling.

Starting a thread of this nature while claiming you want to be left alone makes as much sense as sense as Harry and Meghan’s “worldwide privacy tour.”

  • [Deleted User]gem7 (deleted user)

I don't often seek privacy but when I do...

Complete with your own line. :)

  • @gem7
I do so in a completely public setting while making "bold" statements that are meant to be responded to by others

  • Please stop it guys, He was Spanish, not Italian.

  • And where is the lady with the popcorn? Never shows up when it actually counts.

  • @Sooson I got you covered ...

  • @GuyverGordon LOL she trained you well didn't she?

  • @Katota works nights , you will have your popcorn for breakfast the way Columbus intended

  • edited October 2024

    @Sooson you know it!! 😆

  • @Ripley54566

there is something pretty heartless about charging someone money to cuddle with them

This is generally said by people who think that all cuddling should be free. And don't worry, I don't care about you. It's the people around you that I care about.

@MountainCuddles I know what you said. You said everyone is self-centered. Which you claim means most people are self-centered. But I've met a lot of people who truly and genuinely care. I'm sorry you haven't.

  • @pmvines yea I think she motioned that once. Butter later than never, I guess.

  • edited October 2024

As a paid cuddle.provider, I've been approached by would-be clients who have said to me that they (were willing to pay me, but) had an objection to paying for cuddles. I had to explain that I didn't want to have the pressure of cuddling with someone who already thought my service didn't have any value.
