Having an argument of historical value means understanding history. We have been trained to use race and economic status as definition of where people belong, but try and make points that were pre economic colonialism fit into a post colonial world.
Columbus may have been born in the realist italian home ever. But he saw himself and lived his life as a Spaniard.
