A virtual cuddle when done right make the receiver feel like they have been touched.
The old AT&T slogan used to be "reach out and touch someone."
Or was that Ma Bell? I don't remember.
@TxTom 'perhaps that was those swinger parties you attended? LOL (couldn't resist)
It's not cuddling--by definition of cuddling. Everything to the contrary is a lie.
You're a real ray of moonshine.
After a divorce, swinger parties are like losing in a game of musical chairs.
J/k. I've never attended swinger parties. I'm too stodgy for that.
I do understand it. I actually have the best sessions that are virtual, and it may not exactly be cuddling, but its definitely benneficial for the client in many ways. This is more properly termed as Empathetic listening. Ive both given these sessions as well as paid for them. And the bennefits are numerous.
@Jaclynloveismag "WE" are all wired differently and what you described above I can get from a good friend over a cold beer for free (except for buying the beer). However, again WE are all different so as long as your client benefits in some manner all good.
I wouldn't say I'm confused, I'd just say I'm not interested in.

@BashfulLoner
No worries these are my "beneficial encouraging snack/popcorn" memes and gifs. ππ
πππ See @pmvines has turned me on to Charcuterie boards so...Lol! I'm adding those in now.ππ
@Katota i have to ask⦠do you bring popcorn to your cuddle sessions? That would just complete the theme for me, and be awesome.
@lovingspoonfull @Katota ... that would actually be quite funny ...
My very first session as a pro was a virtual one. The cuddler and I spoke the whole time though most of it was just me listening. We went on to virtually cuddle a few more times when he asked if he could send me something, which I gave the ok for (to my PO BOX). It was a book his mother and he had read together that heβd told me about and that Iβd thought sounded interesting. Sheβd passed by that point so with his permission during our next cuddle session I read some of the book to him and we talked about it. To this day it was not only my favorite cuddle session but my most cherished.
Sometimes a virtual cuddle can be the sweetest and most intimate of sessions.
I will agree that it sounds like you two bonded but again it seems more like a close conversation sans a βcuddleβ.
Iβd agree we should not call them cuddles. Call them virtual sessions or video chats.
Iβve never paid for any/not interested, but donβt have issue others want to pay for that. Other professions pay for video meetings. Just not my thing.
I'm sure it's not for everyone. But some people seek out cuddling for the physical sensation (probably most people) and the associated benefits, others maybe just want company. If you simply need human contact, doing something through Zoom might work.
i have to ask⦠do you bring popcorn to your cuddle sessions?
@lovingspoonfull Of course!ππΏ
I can provide all kinds of snacks while cuddling! π
Popcorn, sandwiches, salads, fruit trays, fried chicken,...Lol! π I live in Gainesville, GA after all! Chicken is very easy to get here!π₯ͺπΏπ₯ππππ
