It's a little weird seeing @TxTom copy what I said just so he can deny toxic masculinity. Not surprising he felt the need to though. But either he doesn't understand "strong gender roles" or he doesn't understand biology. I almost feel sorry for him.
It's the behavior, not the genetics. Self-aware men who care can easily overcome their "biology".
But back to the original point, that behavior from too many men is why women are cautious. And showing behavior like those men, such as a terse and impersonal message, is a red flag.
Read the profile and find a talking point. Leave the rest to universal energies
@WriterGF There are times that it’s not because her message box is full. Sometimes it’s actually because she’s not interested for whatever reason and she’s made a choice to not respond. People reject or ignore other people who they don’t want to cuddle with. It happens. Men feel very comfortable doing the rejecting but their egos have a difficult time with it happening to themselves.
@g_w_t_w Absolutely! People do reject so many things for so many reasons. Humans are finicky. We are responsible for how we handle being rejected ourselves and can't expect that it's the fault of others.
When I met an enthusiast female from this site, she mentioned to me the importance of knowing and being comfortable with someone before suggesting to cuddle. I had suggested that we meet and talk over coffee - no mention of cuddling in the beginning. We did meet and after being comfortable with each other we did cuddle that first meeting.
With a different person, I communicated in an indirect friendly manner with a woman for many months. Eventually, we did meet, but she was just looking for someone to talk with, not interested in cuddling at all.
After that I realized that to cuddle with someone quickly I'd have to hire a pro. I dont do that anymore, however, since I found a cuddle buddy on a dating app...
I try to respond to everyone. I don't think it's anything other than maybe their not active on the site or perhaps just nervous. I was at first but now I enjoy interacting with everyone. Hopefully things turn around for you. 🤗 hugs sent! 😉
I think you got it, man. You seem like a good dude. You probably know how to talk to women 😅 I think the hang-ups here is that for enthusiasts, it might not be something they take super seriously? Or actively? No worries, it's not you
@g_w_t_w Yes, I am aware of that, thank you. However, a full inbox is a potential other factor that it didn't look to me anyone had mentioned yet.
Most people are fake (guys acting like girls etc). I’d say at least 50%. Then there are the pros that dont advertise it30%. People that just want attention 15%. 5% real cuddlers and people.
@cuddle937 If you see a fake profile, please report it, and include supporting evidence in your report.
@ArtemisPrime Are you talking about Pros or enthusiasts?
Its a full time job. Im busy and dont need to take on this responsibility. I block them ans move on .
If you don't care enough to report, you don't care enough to post about it, unless your motivation is to make waves.
Aww. I answer people back. I know it takes courage sometimes to message someone first and it's polite to respond back. However, some cuddlers leave the site for extended periods of time so I'd check when the cuddler your messaging was last online. And of course both pros and non pros have their own personal methods they use to protect themselves so some won't message back if you don't have reviews or if you seem too hasty. I like to message people back anyway and give them the benefit of the doubt unless I see red flags with them.
@cuddle937 So then there is only a 5 percent chance that you are real ? And a 95 percent chance that I am not ?
Why would guys want to pose as women on here?
@WriterGF Probably a few reasons. One that comes to mind would be to scam guys out of a deposit or full payment up front.
87% of statistics are made up.
I don’t know where you heard that, @jimmylee .
I thought it was 63 percent.
🤣
@MonkeyNeedsAHug Well, I saw it on the Internet, so it must be true.
It's some times difficult to get some ladies to respond. There are plenty of great ideas to make it happen. I myself, for the most part, usually message new cuddles in my area with a simple treating and welcome. That begins my screening process. If they are the type to need me to entice a response i don't believe they are the type I'd like to cuddle. However, there are times I've added a little to my initial message. One may be they've been around awhile and i just noticed their profile. I would in this case mention something that sparked my interest. I do realize this might not get me many responses but based on all the other reasons you wouldn't get a response i find it to be an adequate use if my energy. So many women come to the site get overwhelmed with so much attention and they leave, they get a message from the wrong guy and leave, or i think they just get banned rather quickly because their intentions weren't good or they didn't read the rules. But in any case, be patient and they will come around also be active in the forums with positive input, there are plenty of readers that will be interested based on questions and comments here.
There is a lot of merit to the toxic nature of masculinity, but it's not toxic in nature. The view of it as less than us toxic in itself. Our societal view of masculinity and femininity is a little of in my opinion but hey it's the world we live in. Pretty women attract men whether they are showing body or not, and there is no one characteristic that will attract men. The counter is true as well . Stunning men like myself attract women at face value but when they see our physique and stature game over. So i don't know if that's because of femininity or masculinity but it happens. 😚
It's a lottery.
So do, so don't, some do eventually (after 3 months...). A good opening conversation can help but may not.
The ones that get me are pros who contact me asking to talk. I reply and nothing. Lol
@jimmylee
Since that statement is in itself a stat, 87% chance you made it up.
Well you're only statistically speaking 5 percent real so why should I believe any of your stats
You are both wrong. Statistics are facts according to 3 out of 5 statisticians.
I think Op meant in regards to enthusiasts. I've come to the conclusion that there are some users who just are not as active as we might think. Also, that they are selective in who they see, as they are allowed. As long as you stay polite and understand that no response is a response in itself. Sometimes I have a hard time with that too, when not even getting a no thank you or something, but I just move on.
As a pro, this kind of message leads to a back and forth that is inconvenient. With the way the site’s messages will lag and the complete lack of organizational ability within the message section…it’s really kind of a pain to communicate through the site. I like someone to reach out let me know a couple times when they will have availability for a cuddle, I can pick one that works and we can get something booked so I can then invite you to a zoom chat where we can actually spend a few minutes getting to know one another and seeing if this is a compatible situation.
And after looking at your profile, I’m kind of weary of men who have open shirt/topless photos as their profile pics. I’m not interested in your body, I’m interested in your soul.
If OP is referring to non pros perhaps he should try to get to know them as humans first rather than having first interaction being hey I wanna cuddle. Has very little to do with women being selective and much more to do with not being treated as a commodity from strangers on the interwebs
Going to go against the grain here and say I dont think anything is wrong with your message. Its sucks not hearing back but as a professional myself, a simple "Hi" is all I really need to engage. Given most individuals are looking for comfort, I'm happy to provide it and opening the conversation comes with it.
I always go with the assumption that individuals messaging me are reaching out for a reason and I'm happy to get into that with them. I think it's better when everyone isn't too up tight but understandable that everyone has their circumstances. Perhaps in the interest of easing in, start with a hello, an interest in "booking with you" (vs cuddling), a brief description of what you're looking for (what in your life has brought you to seek services) and an inquiry into their specific onboarding process. While this site is all about cuddling, physical touch is still a very intimate endeavor and the extra human touch to your intro may help.
In any case, I hope you find a partner to meet your needs! Good luck! ☺️
