When someone’s profile says “Temporarily Paused”

What does it mean when a profile has been “paused” or “temporarily paused”?
Got a reply (rare) that was possative, but then could not message back as profile was paused.
Is it by the user or admin?
Any help as to what it means would be appreciated.

    Is this a pro? It usually means there is a payment issue between them and the site that has to be worked out, I believe.

    I think it was a new profile but not listed as a pro. At least not yet.

    They may have applied to be a pro and be waiting on approval.

    I think I was paused for a few days time out for breaking CC rules.

    I’ve been told it’s usually because they didn’t fill out their paperwork for payments or whatnot properly. However I’ve seen somebody get paused more than once. Girl gets paused, then back on, then a month or two later gets paused again. That explanation doesn’t make any sense.

    Here we go.

    Paused is a suspension of some sort - either for age verification, identity check, pro-upgrade, or the site failed to charge a booking % fee (pro account) (most common). These accounts will come back if they correct the issue. How long they are paused for depends on the response time of the user. Paused does not carry a negative implication - it's essentially administrative
