Or do you just like to book and see if you click once you get there?
I chat on line for a bit before booking. If they don’t want to talk that’s fine, plenty of others. The pros that don’t want to chat some and answer questions raise red flags, and in the past, when I did book them the experience was less than stellar.
I don't know how it is with enthusiasts but it seems like many pros want to do some kind of video chat before meeting.
@WriterGF A few say that but most of them are crunched for time and often wave it in lieu of karma. Or they do a quick phone call.
Absolutely
Shoot first. Ask questions later.
.
Only, in reverse.
@goodcuddler485 Looks like you're new.... if you go in blind, accept a booking without some convo, you're easily setting yourself up for no shows or questionable people trying to take advantage Those conversations are how you gauge someone's sincerity and build a connection. When someone has a good profile and well established presence on the site, that's sometimes a good indication that they know what is a good platonic cuddle session. But now is the time to establish a good vetting practice and always stick to it.
Yes, always. It’s important to me to get to know them a little bit. At least then when you meet, it’s not a total stranger. If they don’t want to talk, then I don’t book.
Are there pros that book without chatting first? I would definitely want to have some back and forth conversation first.

There are some that even state it in their profile that they do not chat or waste time messaging back and forth. I go on to someone else when I read that, because it’s like getting on a plane and flying somewhere without knowing where you are going. Next thing you know you are cuddling a goat herder’s wife in Albania in a barn.
Going on to someone else sounds like the better option. I guess it could be worse. You could wind up cuddling the goat.
@TheFunCartel with a goat herder in an Albanian barn?! Sounds like a session to remember and forget at the same time. 🤭
This feels like an incredibly dumb question but I am going to ask it anyway ... what about after, do you all usually chat after?
what about after, do you all usually chat after?
No, because I leave them speechless.
Truth: yes. I always chat a bit afterwards. Usually because I like the person because I vetted them, but even if the session was meh, I still chat because it is the polite thing to do.
@Cuddlesofcuddle Depends if you like fleas and bed bugs.
Nah, just smoke a cigarette.
I should start giving a brief survey after the session.
100% talk first. At least a 10-15 minute conversation, preferably via video prior to scheduling. I like to have a decent feel about who I’m meeting & where I’m going…but, that’s just me.
I plan at least a 10-minute phone call now before my sessions, especially if I’m going to be driving out a distance to meet someone new. The couple times I didn’t insist on this ended up being not-so-great results, and I chalked it up to “that’s on me,” and I learned a hard lesson for the future.
I don’t mind some messaging back-and-forth before a session, too, and even after. But I can’t always be online or on my phone at all hours, which I’ve had to explain to some people. So far, I haven’t had too much of a problem with that.
I've had some great cuddles with women I barely talked to prior. Just learn how to read eyes, people.
I chat back and forth prior, I feel like I can get along with anyone and hold conversations. But chatting before does give you some conversation starters when you begin the cuddle
Sooooo, I'm one that doesn't really talk much before. One may think, Why would she do that!? Haha I know right. 😅 My potential cuddlers are not customers to me. So I'll spare the customer service scripts for my full time job and let my karma and charm show its colors to the right folks who care to see them. Who wants to cuddle someone who won't do much conversation? The answer is, many people. No worries if that's not for you, there's plenty of welcoming souls on the platform 😁 Of course I'll answer any questions they have, especially my first time cuddlers new to the platform. New folks need a closer eye so I'll also enforce the fact that platonic cuddles are what I provide and love. It has been very beneficial to be able to say I no longer live my life being deprived of touch. If I don't receive push back and their profile, pictures and username looks decent, I will say yes to a booking. If there is a violation of cc guidelines, I'll end the session early and report. But I haven't had to do that.
Whoops
I always spring for lunch and pay a session for the hour before scheduling a cuddle sesh. It really helps identify the vibe and compatibility.
@Cuddlesofcuddle yeah there are several different ways to do this and I understand why someone doesn’t wish to waste time answering questions from someone who isn’t committed, and I get that. There is a client for everyone.
My deal is the three sessions that were just weird or bad were ones I did not vet. These were early on in my cuddle journey, so now I do a bit of chit-chat but I also do it 1-2 weeks in advance because I travel so much. You already saw a couple of people say they will book at a moments notice. And it works for them. But I like to know details first—beverages, snacks, music etc.
In the end there a million cuddle stories in the naked city.
I prefer the anticipation in not knowing if somebody is an axe murderer or coocoo for cocoa puffs ahead of time
@pmvines Gotta keep em guessing 🤷
Also didn't think I'd have the opportunity to use the line "I have a strict 'No Barnyard animals involved in cuddle sessions' rule . . . .NEXT!"
100%!!!! Its about safety AND compatibility. Make sure we are on the same page, and have good energy to exchange. Understand someones need for silence or some small talk. All can only be recognized via convo before the session.
@KittyPukka Well I guess that kicks me out of the running then
