  • @MajesticMango Little Monsters was hilarious, and with ME being a such gullible, sensitive child (at 5 yrs old) I would definitely need a Ms. Caroline to LIE to me during a zombie outbreak, in order to keep me calm throughout that whole ordeal. Lupita Nyongo was awesome, Josh Gad was cracking me up too!🤣🤣🤣🤣

  • I’ll put that on my to watch list ☺️
Teeth, I’ve only seen it once but I definitely remember the scene with her brother.

    …wow…that um….i won’t talk about that scene anymore…. 😂😂

  • @MajesticMango 🤪🤪🤪I'm weird when it comes to my comedies, I do enjoy dark comedies but not ALL dark comedies are able reach me...Make sense?😁

I have other comedies that aren't dark comedies that aren't considered "dark" too, I don't enjoy romantic comedies aka "chick flicks". 👎🙁

My kind of chick flicks, involves the chicks kicking a🤬🤬...So yeah.😁👍

@MajesticMango Dark Comedies in my collection are: Beetlejuice, The Burbs, Home Sweet Hell, Serial Mom, Cecil B Demented, Death Becomes Her, Horns, The Frighteners and Four Rooms

Other Comedies in my collection: Problem Child 1&2, Kicking and Screaming, Major Payne, Liar Liar, The Mask, Sausage Party and I got some Disney and Musicals too. 😁

Maybe Sausage Party could be labeled dark comedy, now that I think about it. Lol 😆

Same! The only “romantic” movie I like is My Eternal Sunshine. Jim Carrey is my one of my favorite actors so I had to give that movie a chance :)
Romantic anything won’t be up my alley though :,)

Hey look a Jim Carrey movie in your list lol

  • Hey look a Jim Carrey movie in your list lol

    😁😁😁

@MajesticMango Yeah, I have a few Jim Carrey films, like Cable Guy, Me, Myself and Irene, Bruce the Almighty, Fun With Dick And Jane...I didn't get into all of his films, but I have some of his stuff.😁👍

  • I’ll put that on my to watch list ☺️

@MajesticMango Ohh, which one? Little Monsters? If so, great check it out when you can. 👍

Teeth, I’ve only seen it once but I definitely remember the scene with her brother

    😆😆😆

That was a gnarly scene, I will agree to that.😆

  • @interalia626 you think they’ll be offended if we offered them ribs? Where the meat just slides off?

Have you heard of Yuri Lipski diving accident?

There’s a 7 minute long video on YouTube of Yuri Lipski’s descent into the Blue Hole in Egypt.
In the video we watch from his point of view going deeper and deeper into this sinkhole.
At 90m down his monitor alarms him and he’s in a state of panic cause he’s too far down to come up safely.
Disclaimer: He doesn’t die on video.

  • I'm way behind on this thread, but tonight my boyfriend showed me Terrifier.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and immediately requested we start the second one. Loved the 80's music vibe, the main girl's hair...

...the complete silence from our viscious villain, the creepy and then tragic "mother" of the doll, the totally unexpected killing of our main girl, the face of our survivor, the survivor's kill, the Indiana Jones moment when the gun initially comes out...

It definitely had a lot of the usual annoying things that made me growl at the screen...standing around the car in the dark instead of getting inside, going deeper indoors instead of getting out, no one ever making sure the bad guy was properly injured or dead, not taking your escape shot when you know the danger has left or where it is, the extreme unlikelihood of sawing through a body so easily in such a manner, among many, many others...

    That said...

    I would totally watch again.

  • I have zero artistic skill, but I was going to return this sorry excuse for a decoration, and figured an ultra fine Sharpie couldn't make it any worse, so I took my best shot.

Cuteness the stock photo actually advertised...

    Wretched factory paint job...

    My Sharpie work...

Love the round-eyed lil pup, now, and will be keeping him! 🤍

  • @MajesticMango Yeah the ribs might come off a bit insensitive. Also that Hangnail comic is amazing.

    Dark Library 🖤

    The Only Good Indians

From New York Times bestselling author Stephen Graham Jones comes a novel that is equal parts psychological horror and cutting social commentary on identity politics and the American Indian experience. Fans of Jordan Peele and Tommy Orange will love this story as it follows the lives of four American Indian men and their families, all haunted by a disturbing, deadly event that took place in their youth. Years later, they find themselves tracked by an entity bent on revenge, totally helpless as the culture and traditions they left behind catch up to them in a violent, vengeful way.

  • I just learned about Tony Todd passing away, last month. So sad, Mr. Todd.😞

Since, I won't have a chance to meet him at any future Days Of The Dead conventions. I ordered an signed photo from, Days Of The Dead website, may Candyman rest in peace.💐🐝😇

  • I just wanna say how much I love horror. That is all

  • I made it to Days Of The Dead Atlanta with my sister, and met Derek Mears and Alex Vincent (again)...I really had a great time! 😁

Don't take away my horror card, but who is the 2nd guy?

Also, what is Spiderman doing at a horror con? Spidey is cool and all, but this is a villain show.

A friend and I saw the original "Night of the Living Dead" at the theater in 1968 I believe it was. We were both 11 yrs old at the time, not sure if they'd let us in today. I've been enamored with horror films to this day.
