Couple weeks ago I booked a pro in the Portland Oregon area. About 20 minutes before scheduled time she messaged me that she had to take her son to the emergency room for an ear ache. She said she’d be available later that evening. That evening came she said she couldn’t find a sitter. OK, I understand that. She said she’d be at my motel the next morning. That time came and went, and she finally messaged me a couple hours later stating that she had been taking kids to school and was too busy to message that she was not gonna make it. Unfortunately, I gave her a second chance. About five minutes after she was to arrive I get to messages through the site one stating that she wants a photo so she knows who she’s meeting in the next one that says “hello?“ I immediately sent a picture and she had blocked me from the account. It is unfortunate that us guys have no way of warning others when this happens. I am now out nearly $500 for hotel rooms that she was a no-show. I do have screenshots that are timestamp now I am trying to find a same day cuddler which is difficult

    I'm so sorry to hear this, I hope it doesn't sully the experience with other pros for you. Some of us do this fro a living, not just a side hustle.

    Textbook scammer.

    Not true that you have no way of warning others. You can write her a one-star Karma, even if she blocked you. You have a legitimate reason to do so, and it would not be considered retaliation. The review would serve to warn others. Report her to the mods as well.

    Write one star Karma (20 minutes counts as a no-show) and Report her.

    Both the Karma and the Report must be true and fair and I recommend temperate language that sticks to the facts.

    Your description of her behaviour is consistent with somebody who has been temporarily overwhelmed by life.

    Mountain cuddles, I honestly gave somebody a poor review several months back and I ended up getting a 2 1/2 week time out because of “cuddler made a non-substantiated accusation“. So to say, I will not be posting poor reviews that a very poor taste in my mouth.

    Not to this extreme here, but I have unfortunately had SO MANY aggravating experiences with so-called “professionals” here it is unbelievable. I’ve had to cancel THREE bookings just in the last week or two due to a variety of different aggravating encounters & issues. I’ll spare you the details.

    It’s so frustrating to come that far with someone to the point where you’ve booked only to have all of the warm fuzzies broken before you even meet. That and also I don’t like a lot cancelations on my account; it doesn’t look good, even though they’ve all been explained and documented for the mods.

    According to the mods the mods we are not allowed to give (bad) karma unless we’ve actually met with them or they actually did a no-show, which technically were neither in my situations but there are a number of things that transpire outside of those two scenarios that do, or at least should, qualify for a bad karma IMO. But I do wish I could bad karma them to warn others to steer clear of their BS and seek more authentic providers here - I mean that’s the entire point for karma - but dems da rules…

    QUICK EXAMPLE:
    I always like to have at least a 5-10 minute pre-game telephone call just to simply put a voice behind the messaging, get to know each other, warm the social waters etc. But after REPEATED attempts to connect, the day before I finally called her out on the no conversation thing and finally said she “didn’t like talking to people because she had telephone anxiety”! Seriously? If you’re such a snowflake you can’t handle having a brief intro conversation with someone then you don’t belong in this space.

    There’s a lot of talk here about bad behavior with many clients, but many pros need to do better TOO. Not all, but many…

    I remember an OP I penned about how basically everyone has 5 stars. On rare occasion you’ll see a 1 but most of the time a 5. This might be a big reason for that. ….. That, and the fear of a negative retaliatory karma and then it turns into a he-said she-said.

    Argggh now I need a nap….

    This is one of todays luxury anxieties that can be easily fixed in ways will be unwelcomed nowdays.
    Yea it's "real". We have people at work who are exprmpt by HR from taking/making calls due to anxiety.

    Professional cuddler is a bit of a misnomer. As has been commented elsewhere, "professional" doesn't at all mean "professionalism."

    At lot of hurt feelings could be spared if folks could just keep their emotions at bay until after they've actually met their cuddler.

    I mean let's be honest here while sitting up on our high horses there tons of potential clients who flake on cuddle pros all the time so don't get it twisted. Chalk it up to a negative experience and move on. Not everything that bothers us needs to be a platform or a support group. Go have a nice poops you'll feel better.

    We can all save ourselves from some amount of disappointment with the following precautions:

    -Expect the unexpected (be prepared for various outcomes)
    -Remember that we can only control our own behavior
    -Don’t spend in advance more $$ than you can afford to lose.

    I’m sure there’s more but life experience should teach us a thing or two.

    Wow that's not good. If I was in the area, I'd definitely come cuddle with you. I had that happen to me a week ago and it was rather frustrating to say the least. So I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. Complete waste of time and money. Hope you can find someone. 🤗

    Let's face it certain groups of people get special rights and protections and if you challenge them you get accused of some type of phobia hatred or discrimination so it's not worth even getting into it with them

    Not sure what else happened for OP to get banned. Maybe the pro in their situation struggling was trying to make it up, however if it was me I'd also feel messed with after the second attempt. Think OP's is understandably frustrated.
    I'm geninuely confused why his complaint was so quickly dismissed by some. Also confused which venting post is allowed & not? Geninuely curious why were some people shutting him down?

    Social anxiety can be triggered by making calls, it's not snow flakey to struggle with an intense fear of judgement. Your frustrations are valid but please don't mock people's valid struggles.

    Please use the word "women", "females" outside of scientific context sounds loaded, like how anti- women groups refer to women.

    My pet peeve is threads created complaining about a woman doing X, men that jump in defending women doing X and then busybody members jumping in to defend the poor male member unjustly persecuted who made complaint without ANY of them having the full picture. In the end, the OP is almost always banned probably because they incriminated themselves in creating the a problem in the first place or not getting what they wanted. Most recently it was a guy who ran into a sex worker on here and didn’t like that she was going to charge more here than in a sex site. He was banned in what seemed like a pretty open and shut case where both parties would be banned if not for female white knights defending him and accusing the pros, and white knight guys defending the pro and condemning the guy.
