I feel likr this site has slowed down a little bit. I wonder if it’s because the economy.

@nenalinda Based on your profile, it sounds like you're doing well since you mention "the volume of inquiries." Your rate seems great. Perhaps waive the deposit for short distance travel?
From the client side of things, it has greatly slowed down in the past 6 months or so. No new cuddlers appearing in my general area.
And, it used to be that if I looked at a cuddler's profile, she was almost guaranteed to send me a message within 24 hours or so. Now, that rarely happens.
I’ve only been on the site a few months but I’m seeing new cuddlers pop up weekly it seems in the Phoenix metro.
Mostly pros, although some new enthusiasts too.
The economy? You mean the one that has Bitcoin and the stock market at all time highs? The one that has record low unemployment?
I truly doubt it......different areas have varying degrees of awareness regarding cuddle therapy. Some cities bring in remarkable numbers of inquiries; others are more silent. Traveling pros are doing very well, showing up in searches as new faces....something to consider
@beaubliss - I heard that people who exhausted their unemployment benefits are no longer counted in the unemployment rate.
@Mike403 ive heard that in the past too but don’t think it is. The actual calculations are based on self reports on whether you are seeking work. Not whether those people are receiving benefits.

@lovingspoonfull - Once you exhausted your benefits, you're no longer reporting your work search activities because there is no need to anymore if you're not getting any more payments.
@Mike403 that data isn’t used per the BLS. It’s a separate survey with random sampling per the write up.
