Pretty sure different cuddle sources use wildly divergent names. Only the most common (e.g., spooning) have agreed names. Suggest using pictures.
Someone elsewhere suggest the cuddle sutra was not very good (I agree) but come to papa and forking (terrible name 😇) are both nice.

@zalea it is in the cuddle sutra and you lay head to toe with your partner kind of on your sides and rub one another’s legs, feet, knees. Prop with pillows all over the place and adjust for your comfort. It’s a nice change of pace and I just use it with partners I trust to keep their hands in the designated areas🌻

Little spoon with a blanket and some nice aromatherapy. If the person I'm cuddling with is comfortable playing with my hair, that is keen.

A cute, little book called the "The Cuddle Sutra." I grabbed a copy myself a few months ago.
@MeltWithMadison @HarleyGirlKate is correct. I think it’s out of print, but you can find places that have it, including Amazon.
I picked it up when one of my first cuddle partners mentioned it in a funny story.

Has there ever been a thread of “I don’t get it” cuddle positions? That’s probably almost half the ones on the cuddle sutra for me. Ignoring the terrible title, here’s an example. Does anyone see the appeal?
@lovingspoonfull yes, many shown in that guide are ridiculous. Plus, it wasn't written with platonic cuddling in mind. I consider it a red flag when a guy mentions trying out positions from it in their profile or message. (I won't post the pic, but the pink cover edition has an illustration of a guy with his hand clearly on her bikini area. She's side-eyeing him while moving his hand away. Or is she? Once you see it, you can't unsee it. LOL)
@starrynitecuds I absolutely agree (don’t remember that one though?). The author wrote it for couples. There are some that are useful for platonic, others not, and some just seem contrived.
Even if you didn’t read his preface though many of the pics suggest more. The one called “husband” with the wife wearing fishnets certainly suggests other intentions. 🤣

Love the Honeymoon, Come to Papa (or Mama lol, which in that case I can easily caress and run my fingers/ nails through the hair while also massaging the scalp. But honestly I'm open to all of them. 🤗
Difficult to choose! I'd probably rank the top 3 as fork, spoon, come to papa.
