I have a fear of posting since I was redacted against my will, and I was not going to reply to any of this any more. In California, there is a homiesexual movement of men out of the closet dating men with romance. Sex is not allowed on the first date but after a bromance is established. There were bromance dating apps that have gone away because of lack of interest as it is a minority movement. Internet is sometimes saying it is a joke, but it is not for those in the movement. I use to say I was bisexual for decades, but now I identify myself as homoflexible because I have dated men much more often than women all of my life. The homiesexual movement does not identify itself gay which what offends people because the movement does not agree with SOME, not all, gay political stances. I rather be non-political in my dating life. So I will say no more lest it offends any more.
@SteveMe I appreciate your recent post as it explains what you were initially talking about. Please don't be afraid to post here. Everyone is welcome to participate and your thoughts could be good for the community. As far as being redacted, it has happened to me and others. Don't take it personally.
@SteveMe i get it. I see that is a step away from the normal understanding of the usual terms but if it works go for it, to you and all the homies. My interpretation would be that these are gay type relationships ( in my understanding) but that's not up for me to define or understand. But you describe it as healthy and well understood in the community and i can understand why you'd abandon some of the thoughts in the gay community and forge your own. Anyway, i hope i didn't say any of that wrong because i only tried to show support.
My interpretation of this word was always a same sex friendship (between men of course)with someone whom you greatly admired for something or many things that they excel at or you covet- kind of like being friends with Tom Brady- it goes beyond friendship to idolizing but is non sexual.
