Cuddle Weather

Something I have noticed as a pro is that people cuddle the most in the summertime but not the winter. Which is interesting to me because when its raining its the best cuddle weather! Also wouldn’t the cold make you want to snuggle up to someone and warm up? But nope, most of the requests come in the summer. Why do you think that is? And if you personally find yourself cuddling more in the summer, why do you personally end up doing that?

    Anytime is a good time, but I'd much rather cuddle in the fall and winter. Lots of pillows and blankets and sweaters and hot chocolate.

    Summer time you have all the feel good vibes and in general folks tend to feel more outgoing and more able to get out and do things. and winter it's probably not as much of a happy time for some so they psychologically may not be as much in a mood to connect with folks. Also holidays are just busy and financially draining in general so less time , less wiggle room to travel, possibly even bad winter weather so staying off roads more. What time you do have is spent with family and holiday related things and if you're a person who doesn't have cuddle friends and are needing to hire a pro for cuddle services then there is for many just less disposable income for all that.

    Also not everyone has the same cuddle needs. Personally I love cuddling but I'm not exactly upset if I'm not doing that as there are sooo many things to do and cuddling is just a small piece plus I love my privacy and personal space and alone time. I just had a very good close cuddle friend over from out of town for the last 2 weeks, so for me I am good until 2025 to be honest. I sorta feel like anymore cuddling and id probably start to get a little grouchy for my personal space. Too much of a good thing is just that. Too much.

    I prefer the fall and winter. It's a wonderful experience to be under the sheets and blankets while cuddling.🙏✨️🫶

    I figured it just gets slower with the holiday season. But I would love some winter morning cuddles. When is still nice and cold here in Arizona

    Higher number of people being sick with colds & flu during this season MAY also pay a role.

    By this time of the year, I'm usually also running low on social battery.

    I agree with most of you, and I look forward to many warm and cozy winter cuddles.

    But I think a couple of you are onto something. There’s something more relaxed and open to attitudes in summer. A hedonistic lazy day of snuggles can be embraced then.

    While it makes sense to me that the colder months would be "cuddlier" than the rest of the year, ultimately, I don't think there's been much seasonal affect on my cuddling sessions.

    The weather is amazing here in Az right now… even though I have no preference, one over the other when it coming to cuddling seasons… winter (to me) seems to be more snuggle up session worthy over the others.

    While all of my many (=3 whole times! lol) cuddles happened during summer months, I think cuddling in cooler weather would be amazing... Just amazing... Fire, hot chocolate, quiet laughter, numb arms, cold feet, and Platonic Touch. Yeah, that sounds amazing...

    Oh, and mine happened in the summer because that's when my travelling business cuddlers were active. Just a matter of logistics, although I understand the above poster's point about the freer, happier vibe that often exists during the warmer months..

    I think the cooler winter season is the best for cuddling. Well all seasons are the best. But I think the winter would be my favorite.

    Winter is the best time to cuddle in my opinion. 😊 Last winter I got to cuddle with someone while the snow came down in bunches! Magical!

    I don't get enough cuddles to have a season, actually i don't think I've cuddled durning the colder times. Maybe ealy fall when the weather is still good. But i think I'd like to have it happen when it's cold out. But beggars can't be choosers.

    You know i have a problem wearing white. For most of my life as soon as my put in white it gets hungry and demands attention. If it doesn't have a gravitational pull in food, it reaches out and grabs something soiled without fail. Except one time last summer, i wore it all day even set up and tore down an out door event. I'm don't know how i did it, i must have had positive energy that day.

    I think the fielding / cuffing season impacts the size of the pool.

    People who partner up from November through February are getting their oxytocin from inside the house, as it were.

    I love sharing cuddles in ALL weather. lol But I hear all the above.... in the winter time I do crave the warm cozy closeness more AND I also enjoy my solitude for reflection. It's a time for recovery and rest even though many of us don't take that time for ourselves due to the cultural stress of the holiday season.

    I love winter cuddles! Soft inviting clothes with removable layers when the temperature inevitably rises, warm breath to warm skin, a fitting soundtrack & mood lighting in the background, away from the heaviness of a too cold night.
    I can create a whole new world in a small window of time. What a fine place to visit & reignite your light in the darkest of seasons...
