Went this past April and it was amazing. Hate that I missed last year... I'm sure that one was even better. Looking forward to next year's.
Always Aftershock Golden sky CruelWorld A few minor small gatherings of heavy metal bands in the bay. Festivals are worth it if you plan and save properly. The hotels are charging outrageous pricing then canceling on prepays and then charging more. I hope they fix that issue 2025. As many attend from all over the world and 2-4 grand of accommodation, camping or hotel prepay in full to be cancelled upon arrival is not cool not adequate business practices. Sacramento needs to do way better. I know DWP dropped some hotels off the packages due to this.
SickNewWorld is on my radar but it’s had a few issues like Cruel World & a few DWP Events due to weather ect.
Bourbon and Beyond is a dream this year. But 6k to attend is steep. Wish I had family that lived in Louisville, Kentucky, because I would definitely go to this.
So proud of Birmingham for getting it right with this festival, and to be right up the road !
