@Mike102 ivhave a suggestion don't engage in arguments and ignore those that do. Scroll past negative comments and long winded discussions touting intellectual knowing. Read for understanding. Don't take responses personal. That's the only way i see to avoid it in here. Oh and try not to comment when it isn't necessary.
Yes, the forum has devolved. If you go back to the early forum posts you can see for yourself the progression from where we started out to what we've become as a forum community. The cool people are still on CC but just not out here. They don't stay as long on CC either.
Keep in mind, too, that the forum represents a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of the membership of this site. Most members never come here and some have no idea the forums even exist. Best not to judge the site by what you see here, which tends to be same dozen or so people posting.
I originally refrained from participating in the forum because there were so many (in my opinion) unnecessary arguments.
Then I decided to ignore that and just interact with people regardless. Glad I did. I’ve met and corresponded with many genuinely cool people.
I have met a couple cuddlers (won’t say that’s representative, just anecdotal experience) that absolutely dislike the forums for the drama and ignore them. It does make me wonder how many others out there do the same, or even leave discouraged.
Those interactions do help me remember to seek to be kind rather than to be “right”. At least that’s what I’m trying to do, can’t promise to always be successful. 😀
@Mike102
because some people here pmed me each others names and I dont know who to believe
I do not know, or even want to know, who PM’d you names of who to avoid but I would be suspicious of taking their free advice. It is probably worth less than you paid for it 😂
@WriterGF I was just thinking about that the other day (how low the percentage must be of the total membership who actually participate in the forums).
I would add that there are some of us (I would include myself in that number) who come to the forums, and even comment at times, but choose more times than not to withhold comments for various reasons. I would say what some of those reasons are for me personally, but I will pass ... for the very reasons I would have shared. 🤣
... And I will add that there are many times I have typed out a response and about 70-80% of the time I ended up just deleting instead of posting.
@GuyverGordon ive done that so many times. I think is this helpful? Is this gonna piss someone off? What do i have to prove? And what am i gonna gain then say " nah" it ain't worth it
Never seen Any drama on this site nothing but flawless positivity 😁
@FutureHeart2023 Behold ... drama
@jimmylee I made a thread about what percentage of CC active monthly users post comments in the forums. It is about 0.5%. Details in the first post of the thread below.

@JohnR1972 I'm fairly surprised by that number; though i guess that does make sense based off of how many different people I see in the various view cuddler tabs and how many i tend to see here on a particular day. I wonder how many more people just visit the forum? (without posting, I mean)
@jimmylee I try to do type the post, count to 10, decide if I really want to post it. Is it really worth arguing with complete strangers on the Internet? Generally not.
@WriterGF that's a good practice. I need to do that more. I have noticed for me that when it becomes combative, it's usually with the "usual suspects." At that point I consider what was said, grow from it if there is something valid in what they've said, but more times than not (when it's the same handful of negative voices) I simply write them off. Their opinion holds no value to me. Then there are others who, if they call me on something I've said, I will take it to heart and make it right where I can.
I love it when folks on the forum are finding words and ways to encourage others. Such a sweet thing to see.
I believe if you add something to a thread, It may be a good idea to include:
Logic Kindness Empathy Some attention to timing
@Mike102 I have not been here long, but I enjoy reading these. In reading have found people like @starrynitecuds, @Katota, and @CuddleDuncan post frequently and do a good job staying drama-free. They all add value and have a well-rounded approach drama free.
@GuyverGordon keeps things light and fun.
@pmvines and @IronLemon @ReltvlyCanshes have previously self-professed, “I get a lot of flags.” I think I might get in trouble for posting a screenshot, but it does speak to their integrity that they have shared this. I feel they are consistent, but all have light hearted moment. (I question putting @ReltvlyCanshes in this list, but did because of their previous “I get flagged comment)
@TxTom, @WriterGF, and @Sooson say a lot but don't feel like they lean extreme or stir the pot with every other post.
@CharlieBear seems to be the a very balanced mod. I say this because he shares his thought process very well, which I appreciate.
I agree with the comment about @CharlieBear
Who reported cuddle breeze? @pmvines and @IronLemon @ReltvlyCanshes . Or is that unrelated
@Mike102 I can only say not I. I think it has to have been something off-forum.
Makes sense. But I know a lot of you guys are friendly with the mods and they probably take your reports seriously
Somehow I don't see anything happening if I had flagged him for saying I have integrity.
Maybe he was a previously banned member?
Was this the same person who claimed to have a favorite mod when the profile had only existed less than a month?
@g_w_t_w Agreed. They weren't a newbie, but could have been an existing member with a second account or a member of Banned Camp. Unfortunately, they were banned right when we started DMs, but I'm leaning toward the former.
