As for the terms, after thought I'm not sure if the difference but they are definitely different. I'm not sure we can easily place either as superficial. As one who has a deep attraction to certain things the beautiful use of words and to beautiful things like flowers; I'm deeply attracted to intelligence, empathy, wit and thoughtfulness as well as a well formed smile, rich complexion, soft curves and proportions. I find all of that beautiful. If Beauty is in the eye of the beholder what attracts the eye? It could be loud noises? If a flower is beautiful and no one sees it is it still there?
My point is no matter how you feel the word is defined it's about how it's used. After thought i realized i have used attractive and attraction to describe things that are much more than superficial and beauty to describe things as simple as a color or a geometric shape. But I've done so in the inverse as well. When i talk about a women's beauty; i am attracted to the outward appearance but i truly believe that you can't be beautiful on the outside if your rotten on the inside i believe it shows. So am i attracted to the outside only? No i do not believe that to be true. I've seen many many attractive people who are terrible people and i believe i can see that without knowing specifically and the attraction is less, but once i know this person is horrible i understand why.
To be short it's just not a simple thing to determine.

@BlondeGirl OP has previously disclosed having at least 1 stroke that has caused cognitive issues. His prior post history was similar before he explained it and he got warnings (which is what the mods look for). More than likely, this mod doesn't know about his condition, either.

I'd love to know the pot-stirring rule that gets peoples comments sequestered. I've read WAY more shit on this site than what I've read here that was never addressed. There are actually PEOPLE who should be banned for pot stirring for their inability to keep their smart ass comments and actually rude f'ing feelings to themselves and they do it ALL THE F'ING TIME. The Mods know who I'm talking about and so do those who are entitled to say such shit. But sadly it is allowed because they seem to be "regulars" and they get special treatment. It's f'ing sad.
