Wonderful to see this historic, and very beautiful Cathedral restored and reopened.
That was one thing I was excited to see when I went to Paris in 2019. I was sad to see it all caged up and filled with construction equipment. I hope I can go see it again now that it’s done. So beautiful 😍
Amazing restoration work. I did not have time to go inside the cathedral when I was in France around 2010 but I walked by it and took a lot of photos. Ever since the fire I have been kicking myself for missing that opportunity. Looks like I will have a second chance.
I didn’t know the restoration was completed, thanks for sharing. I don’t know if I will make it back to Paris - I lived there for a while in the late 70’s and the cathedrals, the paintings, architecture, fashion and culture was my reason! And my apartment was above a Patisserie!
I got to see Notre Dame the first time I was in Paris. Gorgeous! I’m a low key Francophile, and I remember exactly where I was when I heard about the fire. I felt as gutted as the cathedral itself. So happy to hear it has been restored to its former glory! 😊
