Numbers game

A while ago, I suggested that it might save time on the forums if we simply attach numbers to some of the most common posts/topics, since they tend to be pretty repetitive. Here's some suggestions to get it started. Just write the number that matches the statement you want to make:

1 - "Why can't I find anyone to cuddle with?"
2 - "Pros are too expensive."
3 - "Pros are too expensive and the portions are so small."
4 - "I would never hire a pro."
5 - "I would never cuddle an enthusiast."
6 - "Pro or pro not. There is no enthusiast."
7 - "Long, involved word salad to disguise the fact I am basically saying women are to blame."
8 - "Long, involved word salad to disguise the fact I am basically saying men are to blame."
9 - "Hi, I'm a banned member back with a new account, pretending I just got here while also being an expert on CC."
10 - "When you're done reading this post, you will get why I'm touch-starved."
11 - This one is a little different. 11 denotes the topic is completely irrelevant to cuddling but still allowed on in the General forum. It should be followed by whatever the topic is, for example, "11 - Ice Fishing," "11 - Nuclear Fission," "11 - Misogyny: Your Friend and Mine."
12 - "Too many men push boundaries."
13 - "But women ..."
14 - "I find everything you say offensive. You could discuss the weather and I would find some way to be insulted by it."
15 - "I don't want to talk to you and I will keep on talking to you until you understand that I don't want to talk to you."
16 - "No one answers my messages."
17 - "No one answers my messages even when I rage at them about not answering my messages."
18 - "People who haven't been active on the site for five years don't log on to answer my messages."
19 - "Just tagging you to be annoying. I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you."
20 - "Surprise cuddle party at (member name)'s house. Won't they be shocked when we show up?"
21 - "Don't host."
22 - "Don't be a guest."
23 - "Don't cuddle in public."
24 - "Just pass each other on the street and nod."
25 - "Can't wait to cuddle with you! Please leave your ID, DNA sample, car keys and firstborn with the receptionist."

    I think one of the issues with repeated subjects is that we never come to anything close to a resolution of thought. It seems most often they get over run with emotional opinion that people stand firm in that ends up being heated combative yammering. There are a lot of repeated ideas just supporting each other in different ways back and forth. Then if the threads don't get blocked they just die when the 2 or 3 most vocal contributors to the topic just walk away agreeing to disagree. While those who try to offer dialogue for understanding are silences by the same repeated concepts. Sometimes with a little humor interjected and then with a newly created profile who seems to support something someone else said before being banned.

    What I've also noticed is that those who try and discuss other things one of these often battle subjects get interjected. It's just like politics and religion, people always find away to interject something to prove a point they could t make a week ago in another thread.

    At least that's what i seem to see.

    Maybe we should drop one of these numbers in the comments after someone brings one of these up i conversations about something else.

    You forgot another important one:

    Look at my rubbish / waste of time / I’ll post anything just to get attention and have people look at my profile posts, no matter how empty, vapid or meaningless the topic! Examples from my recollection include:

    -Hi
    -Good morning
    -What are you doing
    -What’s your favorite color
    -Are you up
    -I’m bored

    I don’t recall ever seeing this one, but might as well throw in sparkling v flat…

    1. Yes unless you feel like No is a better answer in which case I change my answer to No. No pressure if yes feels more like the right thing to do I would happily go along with this as well
