If I read that "a session with me is a privilege" in a pro's profile…

That’s a take my money for me lol 😂

  • [Deleted User]Ihavenoidea2 (deleted user)

    Hahahaha

  • I wonder if this conversation is helping anyone understand anyone else better? I wonder f it's productive. I've seen some ideas shared that are middle of the road with consideration for all involved and I've seen some on either side of it. I wonder if anyone is hearing from the other side of the conversation. Because as it goes on some of it seems to get stronger and further away from reasonable. Has anyone learned anything?

  • @ReltvlyCanshes

That may be the most important point made. Give and take has to be present in the discussion.

I'll start, maybe I've wasted a pros time in the past..I will pay attention, read the profile and be as sensitive as I can be to time wasting in the future.

    Whos next?

@ReltvlyCanshes From my research in human history, including paleoanthropology, the answer to your question, “Has anyone learned anything?”, is: Incredibly rarely. And almost never for long.

On a website? Involving emotion, trauma, loneliness, and desperation?

    Magic 8 Ball says, “No”.

    🎱: “🚫”

  • If anything, it's only reinforced things I already knew.

@CharlesGrove then why are we talking about anything? I mean people invest time and thought in this and if they aren't learning what are they doing?

@Dance_Culture what I've learned is just something that I've long believed, people are willing the disregard the humanity of anyone if it helps further support their desired behavior. It's very easy to justify anything if it interrupts personal desire.

The other thing I've learned is that the way i am thought of as a possible paying cuddler makes it less appealing. I've always shared that i am disturbed by the transactional exchange involved but knowing how i am thought of long before i am is disappointing.

I mean I've felt this from some pros but not all, but reading it from some that i would not have expected is disappointing.

@ReltvlyCanshes Well, I hope that people are trying to learn, but only because that’s a pleasant thought.

The truth is, we are human, we only sense so much (and never very accurately or with much detail), and we only “know” about .002% of the observable universe.

So, even with the best of intentions and mindfulness, we are very very limited.

And looks around at everything with the continuing rare exception of a random genius not much is improving.

Humans: We don’t seem to learn but we can’t seem to stop.

@CharlesGrove i don't understand your how we could not be learning. I'm not sure i understand your reference of observable. It's a huge assumption that it's that low if we cannot see it. I don't doubt there is much more and the number could be correct but if we all observe in such a small area we are all observing the same thing therefore is our only reference.

  • @Dance_Culture
That’s a really thoughtful and accountable reflection.

I’ve been reflecting on this myself lately, as I’m also working on improving how I connect with others on this platform. I want to be intentional about building relationships rooted in respect, kindness, and understanding. Over time, I hope to contribute to this community in a more meaningful way, whether that’s through thoughtful conversations, deeper connections, or even offering support to those who are navigating their own journeys as pros.

Some of my favorite pros in this space are also touch therapy advocates, and I find so much inspiration in the outreach work they do. Many of them go above and beyond by organizing free cuddle parties, education events, and other gatherings designed to provide connection, comfort, and healing to those who arent sure how to access it.I'm learning to set better boundaries and improve my vetting skills so I can allocate more time to learning as a pro and asp an advocate.

We all have room to grow and improve! :3 Who’s next?

    @lonelytauros well I’m glad someone gets it 😂 💋

My target clientele is men who respect and enjoy the company of confident women. Every one doesn’t fit the bill, but thankfully a good amount do.

  • What do these time wasters want ? Are they starved for conversation or like the idea of talking to women? Or do they like to annoy people?

  • edited December 2024

The term “time waster” might feel a bit harsh, and it’s not aimed at anyone who’s genuinely interested, asking questions, or building trust before booking—that’s all part of a healthy, pro interaction. It’s specifically about people who repeatedly seek attention!
or engagement with no intention of following through, which can be draining and disrespectful of a pros time. It’s never about one-off conversations or thoughtful inquiries. I hope that clears things up.

I know this conversation might have ruffled a few feathers, but as the saying goes—you gotta let a hit dog holler. 😂

    Everyone is different.

    No one agrees.

Try not to take it personally.

People are so self-centered and distracted that taking anything personally seems a bit silly.

  • Here I come, swinging by with my pollyanna positivity version of things. I talk to CC folks often who live in a different area, which may or may not eventually visit (pay for cuddles). Like-minded, kind, smart, interesting humans. Different genders, ages, pros and enthusiasts alike. Awesome things come of that sometimes. I have a bestie in California, a wonderfully smart and unique friend in MA, an extremely kind and supportive friend in Chicago,my first friend in NYC, a stoner bud from Kentucky, the list goes on. Even occasionally someone I chat with a lot on the site will say hey, you've been really nice to talk to and responsive, I'd like to send you something for your time. It does say on my profile drop in and say hi, and I definitely don't regret that.🤗 Being nice is free.

  • @Auroradream love that for you 🥰 certainly have met some wonderful folks on this site as well. Plus It’s nice having friends to bug for resto recs when I’m in their neck of the woods

@Auroradream You are not a Pollyanna. You simply choose not to throw up your hands and think humans hold no value or everything is pointless. It takes character to be positive and you have character in spades.

People who are positive motivate me to be a better person. I cannot be the only person who feels that way. Positivity is hard work and requires introspection, but it does make the world a better place as it is an action and trait which acts as a fulcrum for others who may not be so positive.

  • @TheFunCartel your thoughts about positivity really resonate! Thanks for the Kind words 🤗

  • [Deleted User]gem7 (deleted user)

@TheFunCartel Thank you for the reminder about being positive. It is for sure a hard thing to do considering all the challenges we face these days. It would be so easy/lazy to become a curmudgeon without some reinforcement.

@gem7 Absolutely! I am a natural skeptic even when I was younger and when I am around others that are so positive and empathetic I definitely feel a change. Sustainability is always the challenge but it is possible I think.

    @Auroradream You are so welcome.

Well, recently I am learning that if said "cuddler" DELETES their profile after my having ONE phone conversation with them? OR if they're not saying anything at all, just letting YOU "carry the load" of said phone conversation?🤔🙄😔

Then Yeah, they're likely time wasters with ZERO INTENTIONS of ever meeting or ever cuddling. 😔

Yep, I shall be paying close attention to those kinds of time wasting signs too. 🧐😁

Most just join up out of boredom too, it's really sad to know that joining random site just cuz BORED is a "thing" these days. 😆

Me, I will go for a walk. Read a book. Watch a movie. Book a spa day. Go and annoy my son, perhaps! 😜

Seriously...I will do something substantial other than joining random websites "out of boredom", just to flake out on someone! Smh🙄
