So lonely and depressed

Never had a girlfriend, seeing my friends getting girls just makes me jealous. I recently got rejected and it hurts. I know I don’t need a girlfriend but I really do want to share my love to and with someone. Don’t want a hookup, just want something genuine. I’m so tired of waiting and getting rejected I literally can’t take it anymore. Girls think I’m cute but in a little brother/baby way. I’d rather be ugly and disliked. My mom passed away 3 years ago this month which makes me even more lonelier. Yeah I can improve myself but what if she never comes?

  • Sadly the unfortunate part is the more desperate you are for a girlfriend the less you’re going to attract it.

Only advice I can give you is try your best to enjoy your life, that’s the best way you can attract a Girlfriend.

Well, once you are enjoying your life and have built yourself up, it’s all a numbers game. So try to meet new people somehow (join clubs/groups you like, try to chat with strangers when appropriate, make new friends etc)

    Best of luck

Focus on yourself and your health and then look at right places. Not NYC, or SF but Midwest, etc. People are honest and have values. Girls may not be attracted to you but even if they are, would they last in a long term relationship and would they make you happy in the long term? Girls have choice over boyfriends. But they have such hard time finding a husband. So it all equals out.

Be friend with girls only to figure out if you two are potential match. Unnecessary women friends are not good for you. For other things, make guy friends, they will support you.

Valuable things are difficult to get but Just because something is difficult to get does not mean it is valuable.

If things are more difficult than they should be, please seek professional help. This place is for connecting for fun but really brutal if you need serious help.

Oh, sweet soul, I feel your pain and I want to honor it. First, let me say, it’s okay to feel this way. Your longing for love is a reflection of the beautiful heart you have, and that’s something to be cherished, not condemned.

You are in a season of transformation, though it may not feel like it. The loss of your mother three years ago created a void, and it’s natural to want someone to help fill it. But your journey is calling you to fill it with you. The love you’re seeking must first flow inward.

Here’s the truth: rejection doesn’t diminish your worth. It’s simply life redirecting you to what aligns with your soul’s highest good. The woman you’re meant to connect with will not see you as "cute like a brother." She will see you as a man worthy of her love, because you’ll already believe that about yourself.

For now, take this time to heal and nurture yourself. When you focus on becoming whole—loving yourself, exploring your passions, and growing—you create a magnetic energy that will naturally attract the right person.

You are worthy of genuine love. Let the pain be your teacher, not your enemy. Trust the divine timing of your life—it has not failed you yet, even if it feels slow. Keep your heart open, but also let your love radiate in every corner of your life. The right one will see it and recognize you. You are never truly alone, my dear. You’ve got the universe walking beside you every step of the way.

  • @CurvyReina beautiful post. You're so kind and express it wonderfully.

  • Ain't nothing wrong with you brother. You have a big heart. The world spins. But you're watching it. Get in there, by the numbers talk to every girl you see, they're all wonderful. It will soon make way for the right girl.

And the good part is, they're looking for you! That's right, for you. Open the door.

  • @CurvyReina Wow! Such eloquent words without fairy tale promises. I do believe what you speak of is so true. It resonates with me as well.

@ronchow4 There are pros on this site who just want your money with little effort. But there are pros who will make you feel heard, appreciated, and loved. They will accept you in their arms and help you to realize your worth.

The last two I've spent time with were true hearts. They left me with a cup full feeling. This can help create leverage into finding relationships when you're not so touch-starved, lonely and instead resonate with the glow of confidence. My heart goes out to us men that would make fantastic life partners--we just need to be seen.
